Roger that. I'm 79 years old, shooting 40-50 trad' bows, 50-75 arrows a day five days a week. Biggest challenge, walking a complete 3D course at the Howard Hill Classic every June near Bessemer, Al.......check it out.....
Love this, my beautiful sister, brother-in-law nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and great-nieces. Love you all❤❤❤
I don't know if I am watching a movie about archery, hunting, life or love? But it had me in tears and I guess that is exactly how it is supposed to be.

I just want to write all of this in CAPS...Congratulations to the Clum family and the folks at RMS Gear on a a very SMART production that includes so many of the elements that make hunting, and especially traditional bowhunting, important. It's about ethics, conservation, wild food, family, woodcraft, and artistry. You covered it all with intellect and poise. This is one of the BEST pieces on hunting that I have seen a long time. Bravo!

That video makes me proud to be a hunter. That's exactly why we do it. The bonding between family and friends. The spirituality of the whole experience, year round. Getting in touch with your true self and the world around us. Not to mention the best meat you can eat. Looks like a great family. Such a great film. Thank you.
Great family, great video. Been watching your teaching videos, and fixing to turn 71 this week I realized again your never to old to learn. Shooting my recurves and longbows better than ever. Thanks for the help. May God bless you and your family.

After watching this documentary (as I see if, not so much a clip or a movie) I feel this is more than just a hobby to them. It's a way to live. I get the impression they don't hunt for fun or as a past time... They hunt to provide for their loved ones. They work together to get it done, everyone of that community pitches in.
Just stumbled upon this great video. I often struggle to convey to people what traditional archery means, and what it means to me. Your video sums it up perfectly. It’s like, when I watched it- I felt like someone else gets me! Thank you!

This is one of, if not the best video on hunting I have ever seen. It covers all of the aspects of hunting, gear, family, nature, death, tradition, importance of practice, emphasis on clean humane shots.......It was just a joy to watch ! Thank you for representing what hunting is supposed to be. I hope that many non hunters are able to view this. There are so many bad examples of hunting videos, no wonder why we hunters get a bad rap ! God bless you and your family and best of luck on ALL your future hunts. THANK YOU 🙏

Been making self bows for myself, my wife and grandkids. can't get any simpler than a stick and string except for a spear. It is amazing to be shooting and hunting with something that was even used in early bibical times and is still very effective. God created us to hunt and gave us the ability to both build bows and to use them. I have bows that were made in the early 60s and they are still very awesome weapons to take game with. The harvest of the meat of the animal is an awesome thing and something to give thanks for. Having Cherokee in my blood makes shooting the stick and string even more enjoyable and part of me. Getting the grandkids involved in the stick and string is even more enjoyable knowing that we are passing something wonderful on. The gracefulness of the wooden bow is sleek and light in the hand and yet powerful enough to harvest game. The sheer beauty of the simply bow is something that blows me away as does my God. Be blessed even more so.

Simply put...wow...I'm not sure my smile faded at all for fifteen minutes! My dad died in 2011 and never got to see me hang up the compound about three years ago in favor of the stickbow. I was born in 1966 and that same year my dad bought a Bear Grizzly. I still have it and love shooting it. My goal is to take a deer with it in honor of my dad. Awesome, Steve! Check back in the fall and let us know how it goes.
The traditional bow has amazing affects on people , it's a life changer and bring different views on life than just about any other sport . When you have a family group involved , the life style and closeness that emerges from it can go on for generations and teach so many life skills only found from that bond and that traditional life style . Thanks so much for sharing your lifestyle with us . Your dreams , your passions will touch others and hopefully change some minds of those who don't have a clue or interest or understanding of what and why you and those involved in this lifestyle do what we do .
