This album came out as soon as i got sober and it helped me so much, but this song was the one that hit me the most, it describes my entire 29 yrs of life. From sruggling with my femininity to just struggling to fit in in general. This band has been my favorite since the day they came out and i have many favorite songs by them. But this song will always resignate in my soul.

Amazing album, and this as the final track was just the icing on the cake.

This song is amazing. Can't listen without tears. There are more people who feel out of place or "alien" than we realize, between social anxiety disorders, and those struggling with gender identity, etc. Thanks from another alien.

I just went to their concert at Showbox SoDo last night and they tied in Leonard Cohen's Broken Hallelujah

I was blown away when I listened to this… you pulled this off… plus the lyrics as someone that relates to them it makes the song a million times better. Loved the album. Love you from Mexicali, Mexico!!!

Right. Had it on replay for a while. Growing up with ADHD, or any other mental illness, makes you feel so different from everyone else.

Nice, very different from 'usual' Interrupters' songs! I'm like an alien too, like wayyy ahead or wayyy behind on other people all the time... I have a bipolar disorder and in a pretty depressed stage at the moment... But whatever stage I'm in, just getting along with people is pretty easy for me, but to get closer is just impossible! Up to the point where I don't even want that anymore, most people are full of bullshit and lies anyway and I just don't thrive too well in such an environment... So I'm kind of trying to accept the fact that it's just me...

Wow.. the number of artists who's creativity died in the last 2 years is insane. Feels like every artist just watches the news and writes about what's on TV recently. Growing up as a kid while everything is being politicized must be rough, especially when these 'punk rock' bands are validating dysmorphia.
