I bought my stepwagon when I got out of my parents place during the start of the lockdown because rent was too expensive plus I was removed from my old job. This car help me to get back on my feet until I got a nice stable job early this year. I finally put down a mortgage & bought a tiny 1 bedroom apartment. Mid 90s to mid 00s Hondas have such great quirky interior features, like the cover of the vestigial spare tire well in the back of my gen2 CRV being a little folding card table. Sadly all the automakers seem to be interested in now is just adding more electronic crap rather than carefully designed (or at least cute) physical quality of life features.

The Mercedes W124 has something similar, except it pops out of the glove box, so if you take a turn, not only can inertia throw your drink all over you, but the items in your glovebox can hit it too!

@Precisionstriker I know. It broke down with only 30,000 miles because of a bad fuel pump. And my mom's car, which is only 6 years old and is also a Chevy, has all kinds of different brake issues, to the point where I am considering programming a system for the ebrake and just adding wheel spaces instead of brake rotors and replacing the brakes entirely. The suburban is comfortable though.
