ESPN did her dirty. Always, always had mad respect for her broadcasting, her presence, and her knowledge of the game. I had _no_ idea she played before. Suzy is a true boss.

ESPN has become a complete joke. Leftist politics have become the priority instead of good sports coverage. People turn to sports to get away from politics, yet ESPN is adding politics to sports. People have stopped watching as a result, so their response it to get rid of the people who are worth watching (Like Suzy) to double down on hiring political activists.
Gonna miss Suzy 🥲
She had some great parents. They supported her passion regardless of stereotype.
Wow never knew she actually played football. I always loved her work and after watching this, I have even more respect for her and what she does. She is the best.

My favorite female ESPN reporter W2G Suzy GOAT of female ESPN reporters
"She's one of us." --Ronnie Lott, on Suzy Kolber
She may not talk about the Namath incident, but it will still be the one thing I always remember her by! She handled it perfectly.
I can't believe ESPN let her go. It's a real shame because I always looked forward to any of her work. Here's to hoping another outlet lets her continue to follow and report on her passion.
Sad day; much respect to her career
Wow Suzy's mom back in the day.

Suzy Kolber was dope!!! I love her chill out laid back announce style
Suzy has a great story and like Andy Reid said....remind these guys you used to play! Incredible. She knows her stuff. Good for her. I can see how proud her parents are.
Love Suzy Kolber. I grew up listening to her father Gene Kaye [Kolber] on the radio in the late '60s. He was a DJ on WAEB in Allentown, Pa., spinning top 40 hits.

I remember Gene Kaye, I grew up listening to him but I never knew he was Suzy’s father
A story about Suzy has been long overdue. I paused a video my kids were watching to turn this on and share my appreciation for her enthusiasm and professionalism she's provided in the sideline throughout the years.
1. Suzy Kolber 2. Pam Oliver 3. Lesley Visser 4.Michele Tafoya 5. Lisa Salters
Karen's were being Karen's in the 70s too😂 They really hated on young Suzy smh that's crazy!!
She’s got “ it” !, earned and deserved and a fine result of very supportive and exceptional parents…, bravo Suzy!
Bet her kids friends though she was the coolest mom ever
Suzy's the GOAT, love watching her work
Suzy was and IS a star! She’s been the best for a long time.
I’ve always loved Suzy- professional, funny, knowledgeable, and her bubbly personality is great.
It’s hard to ignore greatness. I had no idea this story was right under my nose, probably one of the most memorable stories I’ve EVER HEARD about the NFL wow
She is a great knowledgeable reporter I enjoy her insight and a 🔥 chick as well
“Aren’t you afraid of getting hurt?” (Scoffing, Incredulously) “No.” That’s some Big Philly Energy there! Cool to know some more about someone who’s been a presence for decades.

I had a smile the whole time . Awesome story!
suzy is one of my favorite reporters, i did not know she played football, good for her
I never knew any of this but I always thought she was uniquely genuine and passionate about the game. What a great story. I will never forget how classy and dignified she was during that particularly uncomfortable moment with a pretty drunk Joe Namath…a guy who I also have always loved and admired as a human being. Instead of being an offended angry victim, she actually behaved in a way that was incredibly kind and sympathetic to Joe..who she knew was going to regret making such a spectacle of himself on air. That it prompted Joe to give up a lifetime of drinking just shows how horrible he felt about disrespecting Suzy and himself. Suzy is an amazing sportscaster and this story needed to be told.
Saw her at Belmont Park she is so gorgeous in person.
Didn't know I needed to hear this story. Thanks!
She has some incredible knickknacks in that room. Did you see the display case with all the gumball football helmets you got out of vending machines at the supermarket or wherever? They came in those little plastic bubbles and you had to put the stickers and the facemasks on yourself. I had a ton of those as a kid.
I’ve always admired her enthusiasm and energy while talking about football and sports in general. I had no idea that she played football when she was younger and what she had to endure. She is inspiring!
If there will ever be a golden jacket of the achievements for what women have done for the NFL this is a first baller hall of Fame candidate.
I’ve been watching her on the tv doing this since the 90’s and never knew the back story. This was very cool with that old footage.
So cool! What a wonderful person and professional.
Much respect for her. She’s one of my favorites make or female. A great human being doing what she loves! 💪🏽😘💪🏽
She's such a knowledgeable professional.
Think its partially because I'm a young football fan, but Suzy is the most recognizable voice in football outside Madden and Al Michaels for me.
Already a Suzy Kolber fan; more so. Loves football. The perfect woman!!! Phenomenal professional! Class act!
Proud that she honed her craft in South Florida. I know that Hank Goldberg was a mentor that she appreciated during the ascent of her career. An excellent journalist and a lover of the sport - hell, she played the game. Kudos!
Suzy is without a doubt the best ever.
Boy, did I enjoy watching her on ESPN. I will miss her.
I absolutely adore her; she is wonderful. And she EARNED her plaudits. Her body of work speaks volumes. She is a class act and someone to look up to.
Been watching her since ESPN2 when I was a four-year-old little kid getting dropped off at morning care before school. We would always turn on the TV to ESPN 2 and watch her as little kids we grew up watching her
She NEVER has any close ups on camera!.which i don't understand because she's gorgeous!
Suzy is just perfect imo. Just a great American.
Love it! Thank you for this video. Suzy: trail blazer! Thank you for being an example for my daughters, even if you don’t want to be/never been asked to be…too bad, you are! Thank you Suzy
My all time crush !!
ESPN has two of the best female anchors who specialize in rough sports: Suzy Kolber for the NFL and Linda Cohn for hockey. That's not to say that women like Elle Duncan, Sage Steele and others (the list is too long for this), but Suzy and Linda are the ones that I associate most with North America's two roughest sports leagues.

Very cool to see. Sometimes you don't really think about how someone gets somewhere. But it just seems like she was meant for it from the start
Suzy is a beautiful woman . Her husband is a very blessed man.

Great story about a great person. Best thing I’ve seen all day!
Suzy in a word #Iconic
my favorite sideline reporter of all time, and she was great on the edge matchup show.
Wow she is amazing. ESPN Institution 🏈

Philly girl through and through. Very professional and well respected,
Always classy and always professional.
Wow I so loved this !!!!!
She never annoyed me with her NFL Work, She Was Made for The NFL Media, a True Professional 👍👍
Suzy was an inspiration for girls like me who genuinely love the game. ESPN made a huge mistake imo.
This is awesome. Love the story and the person.
Pure class! Very rare and precious lady.
Suzy Kolber is basically a real life Peppermint Patty. And an inspiration for young girls
🐐🐐🐐 a huge inspiration!
I hope she lives forever❤️
She was always my favorite
One of the Best!
Just one word - Awesome.
Her mom was and is beautiful
5:55 classic kirk cousins
I still remember seeing her for the first time on ESPN2, live at the news desk, wearing a stonewash denim jacket. She has always had style like no one else
Suzy still loves football and has great knowledge and energy on tv
I'm so glad I saw this.
Total class act, and what a great ambassador of the sport.
This is awesome.
Very cool and inspirational!!
THE BEST.
That was awesome, she is great at what she does. I'm a big fan, you go Suzy.
Aw we gonna miss Suzy !!!
Suzy has always been great
She is absolutely the most beautiful and smart women on the networks today. Ive been in love with her for years.
This is cool. They should do more of these things about the anchors.
A salute to that lady
This story has changed my view of her. She really earned it, not just a pretty face for ratings like fox does so often.
I always liked her sideline reporting and I love that this has been in her blood, since she was a little girl. Very cool!
Remember when I first saw her covering the beginning of the X-games craze in the mid 90's. Always thought she was a really good sports reporter.
I want Suzy on My Team! What a great person!!!! Thanks
Very very cool. Had no idea she was a player turned super broadcaster!!
Remember her at channel 12 in Providence before ESPN!
She's the best!
I like her because she keeps the show focused on the sport, even when they do the silly bits like, “ You Got Moss’d”. Great sports reporter.
