This must be THE most underrated movie ever. Watched it about 15 years ago and loved it, watched it again today and loved it even more. Mann’s direction is impeccable, actors (big ones) performances are terrific, dialogues and the plot are rich, no mess around, movie is right on point.

I've watched it again after 25 years, when it came out, and it gave me the same great satisfaction of the best Michael Mann's movie. Man he's such a brillant director!

RIP Christopher Plummer (December 13, 1929 - February 5, 2021), aged 91 RIP Philip Baker Hall (September 10, 1931 - June 12, 2022), aged 90 RIP Sir Michael Gambon (October 19, 1940 - September 28, 2023), aged 82 You will be remembered as legends.

Everyone was excellent in this film. A tremendous picture by Michael Mann.

Michael Mann at his top form. For Russell Crowe too.

Total underrated movie. Sad it’s not on any streaming platform

Michael man is a top notch classic director

Miami Vice is one of the most underrated movies out there

Great movie that’s often forgotten as one of Pacino’s top movies as well

Best MM film, best Crowe film and add to that Pacino. A masterpiece and perhaps the best film ever, True, authentic, grown-up and intense. A gripping, angry, brilliant picture that could be a play. Stick with it, it is peerless

Russell Crowe was superb in this movie

Cigarettes are still a billion dollar enterprise.

To lend from a film released in the same year as "The Insider", Jeffrey Wigand is the real-life whistleblower that was Morpheus. And by teaching a lesson to the world on the "truth", both characters opened up a Pandora's box.

Very good movies, very good casting, very good director, very good mudic and more...

An example of when going gets really rough...the wife leaves...the vows are worthless then...the wife in this movie is a coward
