Hi KL Greetings from freezing Bham UK. Enjoyed the video and the pictures together with your commentary. I do little bit of wildlife and birds but mainly sports. I've been to Bharatpur bird sanctuary and also Dr Saleem Park in Goa. As well as Tiger reserve like the Rantambore, Khana, and Pench. Hopefully, when this Covid is over we'll see about coming over. Your Narration, Your Photography & Your Presentation Is Just Awesome. It Looked Like A National Geography Channel Documentary. Keep Up Your Work. I Don't Really Know Whether You Are Just A Birds Photographer Or A Wildlife Photographer As Well, But I Recommend You To Film The Himalayan Brown Bear. It Would Just Be Amazing & Even The Ppl Would Be Aware Of Such A Beautiful Endangered Species Of Bear On The Top Of Himalayas.

Subscribed! This video almost brought me to tears. When I lived in India, I didn't have the equipment for birding and so was only interested in mammals. After moving to the US, I was able to get the right gear and upgrade while also working hard on my skills. I've learned so much about birding here, and when I visited India again I made some incredible memories in just a few short days. Sadly time wasn't on my side. I wish I could be there in an instant to photograph francolins, parakeets, bee-eaters, raptors etc. :) Thanks to this video I've also learned about some species I wasn't aware of - the vernal hanging parrot and crested bunting.

@@KennethLawrencePhotography Second-hand is the way to go. 😄 Is that a Canon 200-400mm f4L? I shoot Micro Four Thirds and moved from an adapted Canon FD 300mm f2.8L to finally having my precious Olympus 300mm f4 Pro which I use for birding with teleconverters. It's the sharpest lens I've ever used. Bought second-hand, of course!

Thank you so much, dear Sunil! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Birds are very skittish. Any movement or sound can send them flying away. It doesn't matter if they've seen you or not, the slightest disturbance can cost you a photographic opportunity. I used the term 'risky' because I was basically risking the photographic moment.

Nice video Kenneth, India has a diverse bird and wildlife locations. BTW how much did it cost for the Canon 600mm f4L and the DX II, must be pretty expensive in India.

Yup, many beautiful places and so many stories to be told. I own a Canon 5D IV and a used 200-400mm f4L IS EXT. The 1DX II you see in this video was courtesy of Accord Equips, a camera rental company. If you were to buy the asked gear set-up, it would cost approx INR. 15L here. Way too steep an expense!
