Will be interesting to see how much quicker they can go in 2023 now that most teams should have eliminated the porposing with the exception of the high speed sweeping left hander

If you're an F1 fan you HAVE to see these machines in real life... It's happening right in front of your eyes and your brain can't comprehend how fast these things brake and go through corners.

This angle gives such a good idea of how uncomfortable it must be to be pulled in each direction so hard so quickly. Their bodies go through so much driving these things for hours at a time. wow
Big respect to F1 pilots for being able to control these wild machines, around a circuit, whilst battling.

I’ve unfortunately never been to an F1 race, however I have been to many other races and let me tell you. Everyone who is a motorsports fan needs to go to see a race in real life. The sight, the sound, the smell of racing fuel and burning rubber, the ground trembling beneath you. It’s quite an amazing experience!
@BadThrusher

That Ferrari powertrain wastegate sound is the best and loudest of them all.
@Christophers1.8
7 ай бұрын
the mercedes pu is the loudest, and the mclaren is the loudest car by far. what you mean is the ferarri is the only car you can hear the wastegate open
Sadly no Honda downshifts, would have been the perfect video, good thing i will hear it once again live in hungary
@PSMotorsport
2 жыл бұрын
100%, looking back i wish i spent more time near braking zones, the start of the vid was the only time I did all weekend and the downshifts sounded so cool.
I’ve only been to one F1 race in my life and that was Spa 2022. I sat at Pouhon (the double left hander) and it’s hard to fathom how fast they are. It’s mind blowing seeing them almost take it flat at over 170mph
no video can ever do these cars justice. seeing the raw corner speed with your is just insane
Great videos mate keep it up!
The V6 engines don't have that approach noise that the Aspirados had, but it does have a big noise on the way out, when it's on its back after passing.
@PSMotorsport
Жыл бұрын
Yeah they are missing that approach noise which made things more intense at the track. I do enjoy the downshifts and off throttle gurgle noises from the V6 engine. The V6 actually sounds louder when they're off throttle vs when they're wide open on the straight.
Great viewing! Please do the same for the Bike Grand Prix at Phillip Island this year! (MotoGP) The two-wheeled pinnacle where you can actually see what the rider is doing!
It's pure insanity the speed they fly around the corners and don't crash or even flick the wheel
@wellfelix7883
2 ай бұрын
That's how it is Built
Seeing this you just can't imagine what would've been standing along the Hunaudieres straight in the +240mph Group C days
The other thing that gives the speed of these Cars perspective is that they have the V8 Supercars as a support race. You watch them and think "that's pretty quick" they all go past and you wait about 45 seconds and the leader goes past again...the F1's you don't get much time to wait, the last car goes past and about 15 seconds later the leader goes past again. It takes about an hour to walk the track and it takes them just over a minute.
It's the speed in the corners that really sets f1 apart. The car shouldn't be that sticky. It's hard to comprehend lol

the Ferrari Open wastegate sound has to be the greatest thing about the new v6 hybrids
That Ferrari PU waste gate sound coming on throttle is beautiful
The alpine sound so gooood
Wow. I’ve been to IMSA races and they were amazing, but this is something else. That corner speed is outrageous!
I watch this video every few days, it's therapeutic

I'm in love with the Ferrari engine wastegate sound
Love the cheering for Danny ric every time he goes past
Indeed, saw them live last year foe the first time, it's absolutely insane. Long life F1!!
David 1 second ago Exhaust snap in the wind. Looking forward to next weekend Melbourne 2023! Go Alonso!
I went to the aus gp this year and just seeing the cars on formation lap was soo loud and in the race you couldn’t even yell over the top of them as they go by
Love how the Ferrari PU has a sound burst when the wastegate opens
This is one of the most HD clips that I’ve seen a bit
The 1st time I saw f1 footage, I thought it was sped up. I couldn't believe a car could take a corner that fast.

Isn’t it just crazy how slow the TV makes them seem!
I was lucky enough to watch a few races where you had to put ear plugs to protect your ear drums.
mercedes definitely have the loudest PU. the mclaren sounds deafening.
they even added subtitles right next to the track
If you set the video speed to 2x, you can see what a hypothetical completely unregulated f1 car would be able to do (Maybe not fully accurate tho, idk if unregulated f1 cars would be able to turn a sharp corner at 300mph, but im also not an engineer or a aero specialist so i wouldnt know.)
idk why but it's kinda fun to watch at 2x speed
Danny Ric in light disguise at 1:42
australia is so underrated
The Red Bulls sound demonic
i actually couldn't watch f1 on tv for 4 months after seeing it live. What's even more epic than the speed is how late they can break and quickly slow thr car to a near halt and then dart off like a rocket. Bends mean nothing. F1 truly is mans handshake with the universe!
Is it just me or do people just recording with there phones, manage to capture the speed of f1 cars way better than the official live broadcasts
Did you get any 2023 footage? Some insane overtakes as well as the crashes during the restart. Australia knows how to put on a show.

World's fastest vacuum cleaners😭 Bring back the V10
Whats crazier is that sometimes they go to those corners at the speed while going wheel to wheel against other cars
Shame that F1TV always reduces the sound those cars. I think they aren't too bad in terms of engine sound. I know that V10 and V8s have glorious sound but V6 hybrids sound better compared to what you hear from TV

I find crowd footage always gives a much better impression of speed than any of the official tv footage.
This seems like such a boring area to watch a race but a amazing area to view a f1 car in action

I found watching the race at the track is pretty boring in general, you need to have a big screen nearby to be able to follow the race clearly. But for witnessing the pure speed of the cars, especially during qualy being trackside is the best as TV numbs the experience.
And yet the official broadcast fails to show the sense of speed and breaking forces..
Se tu piscar, não vê 😉
The mclaren sounded louder than the other cars
They move like slot cars
and on tv they look so slow because of the cameras its actually sad
