I just saw this unit in person at a local showroom...I absolutely love the look of it. The bonus is that you can buy a reasonably priced and good looking mantle kit with it.

Would be great if you could show it with the unit off. How does it look when the display is off?

It helps to keep the top lights on to illuminate the logs, and have the digital screen at equal brightness to help with transitioning. I think what I like about the inception is how their digital firebox has a brick/ stone background. If modern flames orion can update theirs with a firebox other than a black screen, it may be the unanimous winner. Modern flames orion has the better fake log presentation, but the inception has the better image on the screen. Ps just got my 240v wire to my firebox. Also I thought that character was a customer 😅.

Dang had me sold on a OrionTraditional but on my IPad screen, this one looks even better. (BTW Chris ALWAYS agrees with you.😀) I suppose a plane ticket to Denver to check out in person is on my horizon. Honestly I could have done without the satire on the Simpifire manufacturer. At least they are trying to improve the electric fireplace market for those of us who this is the only option. Cost difference?. The NetZero is nice too but much too deep and not tall enough for my application. Anyway, as always thanks for your helpful reviews

What is better for dealing with reflection? This versus the modern flames? I know the modern flames is a little less reflective but how does it compare?

Is there any electric fireplace insert that can fit 42 wide x 20 height x 21 depth?

If they fixed the logs (make them glow etc) the optimyst would be the best

I dont like that it use the 6000clx, its an image of a gas fireplace, they could have used an image of a wood burning flame

Looks good in the video anyhow but extremely expensive. The guy did a better job disguising himself with that mask. I need one for Halloween lol.
