Good morning Smile Jamaica. Dr. Knife could argue his constructive points until the cows come home. Nuttin naw change because the big fish will always be eating up the small fish. The regulators need to better assess their policies to better the country.

Remember that the US government has historically pressured the government of JA to keep the industry illegal thereby hampering the development and growth of the local industry . Finally lack of financial support for local producers .

Just like everything in Jamaica to benefit Jamaicans we the people can't afford it. Look at the people who are getting the licenses (dem money nuff). Why not have small/local farmers supply those with the licenses (just a food for thought 🤔). Like the Dr knife stated "WE HAVE THE BEST HERBS IN THE WORLD".

An extremely embarrassing situation, very poor governance on Jamaica’s behalf and my observation holds true for other businesses. A inept government with no national pride. Sellouts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This right here is utter rubbish. The government and citizens should not allow such depravity to our residents, most of who suffered for years for the same Ganja. Once again, our people are systematically left behind.

North America will kill the local Ganja business , or keep it small and insignificant. You have to offer a wide variety of consumer based products and target the tourist industry in addition to the lucrative medicinal market.

Hey smile jamaica one of the most important part of this interview was cut off and how a overseas investor should be allowed to do business. If they want to do business they should have a local partner with 50% ownership that how it's done in other islands and should be the same for example cayman Islands you can do business with out a local partner

Government really dropped the ball on this one. There's billions to be made in the weed industry and yet they allow Canada to import some in. Lunacy!

tourism market so that they and use brand Jamaica for their foreign products just search on the internet so many countries are doing it using the brand for things that don't even step a foot out of Jamaica because they understand the marketing power of Brand Jamaica but that is fraud and can damage the Brand because they only want to sell what ever they can sell using it not putting any concern into safeguarding the reputation of the Brand because it is not their country men that built it. they will use it abuse it and find another to steal once they are done. take a look how grace foods sell out brand Jamaica few years ago with contaminated curry powder made and produce is some country in Asia gov needs to open their eyes how could someone lead brand Jamaica to some place that dose not even have a single Jamaican working their over seeing the operations to make sure the brand is protected by producing quality products
