Unless I'm misunderstanding something, it seems a little odd to me that Sloane was so disgusted by Rax's use of inhibitor chips on prisoners of war at Chandrila, but had no problems with the First Order abducting, brainwashing, and ruthlessly training children to be murderers for 25 years. Nonetheless, a great video as always!

@@orbaitv5991 Perhaps, but it seems like the child kidnapping scheme was revealed pretty early in the timeline of the FO - at Jakku - so she probably knew about it when she decided to follow in Rax's footsteps and start the First Order, and I just don't think someone who was disgusted by the inhibitor chips would sign up to lead a project when they knew upfront that it involved abducting and brainwashing children.

Dont expect that much thought put into it, the new republic decided to have the chancellor be the head of the senate instead of a separate executive branch because it would reduce the chances of another guy like palpatine from using the postion as head of the Senate for gaining personal power even though the old republic also didnt have a seperation of powers... Disney just likes Hypocrites

​@@hefrov10 Ok sure, but the Clones' chips are unrelated to this, and virtually no one knew about the inhibitor chips' true purpose, that was the whole point. Only Palpatine, Dooku, and the Kaminoans knew (aside from the very few who figured it out). The galaxy at large likely wouldn't have even known of their existence, and was less likely to care. Sloane didn't join the Empire knowing about the Clones' chips, that's why she was disgusted and surprised by Rax's using them on PoWs, and thus why I don't think she'd be alright with leading a new Empire knowing its army is made up of kidnapped children.

One of the big mysteries in the current Star Wars canon is Sloane's final fate. She was one of the key founding members of the First Order, and has been confirmed to still be around while Supreme Leader Snoke was first rising to power, but she's nowhere to be seen during the sequel trilogy. What happened to her before Episode 7? Did Snoke (for whatever reason) kill her or have her killed? This is a question I hope gets answered at some point in canon.

They really should have done the legends post empire era and made the first order one of the many different factions. I think Phasma should have had a larger role to emphasize the military’s junta aspect more. Kylo Ren could have been his own character instead of a poor man’s Darth cadeous and his knights of ren could have been a dark side version of the light imperial knights in the fel empire. Maybe to connect fallen order Taron malicos could have survived being buried alive and trained kylo. General Hux should have kept his characterization from his speech he gave at starkiller base, a ruthless fanatic. Gideon should have been used more as well since he was so well cast.

Not bad but i was thinking something like this. The First Order would instead still call itself the Imperial Remnant although it did become a Military Junta led by the Supreme Commander of the Imperial Forces. Rae Sloane is the current Supreme Commander after she reunited all other Imperial Factions under her command. Phasma would be the Imperial fanatic instead of Hux and her background would be totally different, she served the previous Empire as a Death Trooper and as one of Palpatine's Royal Guard and she now serve the Imperial Remnant as Grand General of the Stormtrooper Corps. Armitage Hux would be the Director of the Imperial Secret Services, and agency created with the unification of both the Imperial Intelligence and the Imperial Security Bureau alongside the rest of the entire COMPNOR. All agents are trained in a 4 years academy where they learn to be masters of Teras Kasi, marksmen second to none and excellent spies, investigators and diplomats. The agents are also now the only one to receive the ranks of Moffs and Grand Moffs and aside of being governors they also act as special police officers like the Sector Rangers. Rey would be one of the many children taken by the Imperial Remnant to be trained as Stormtroopers after her mother was killed, instead of becoming a Stormtrooper she became an agent of the Imperial Secret Services becoming one of the best agents despite being young and inexperience. She would later defect the Empire after discovering it's involvement in her mother's death and would later become the apprentice of Luke Skywalker whom she later discover being her father. Finally, as a way to be loyal to the ideas of George Lucas, Maul would replace Snoke. He's not technically part of the Empire but he's an important ally and he's also the most powerful crime boss in the galaxy and the most powerful Sith lord of his era. Also Thrawn trilogy would be Canon as well.

Ah but that would have required a shit to be given, and that was something the Disney trilogy never had.

Too bad the First Order in the movies was made so ridiculous, instead of relying on the Empire to be a greater power, they made the same mistakes regarding troops and vehicles (not counting officers with twice the incompetence of imperials).

@@AshanBhatoa I don't think it was necessarily Troops and Vehicles the First Order did poorly, more their management of such. Their logistics was strained as it is, and most of their members were serving out of fear rather than legitimate loyalty. Their faction also doesn't seem to have an end goal, and seems to just murder and pillage for no legitimate reason other than to be evil.

The Clones didn't know about the chip, with a few exceptions. They would only know after Order 66. And Vader didn't normally use the force choke on his soldiers, because he admired their bravery in battle. As for the officers, well...

I'd say her story is pretty good both in canon and legends. Though one thing is questionable.... What happened after she discovered the Eclipse in the unknown regions? Did she utilize it against the New Republic or what happened to it? I didn't see the Eclipse anywhere in TROS, unless it's still underground somewhere. Curious.

The main problem i have with the new star wars film is that they keep reusing the old movie plots, after the empire is crushed a new order is created (you would think the rebels would keep the empire down) but they get to rise again and again. and every new order builds a sort of new stronger death star, which gets destroyed. like how can they do all this whilst staying hidden until strong enough

@@deathtrooper6657 I don't know what to say because i don't know Sloane as much as you do (i only know her through this video and a few others alongside the information given to her by Wookiepedia) but i still would love the idea of her being the Supreme Leader of the First Order, she has a real connection with the Empire after all so overall it would still make more sense than Snoke. Beside the First Order is a Military Junta, right? A nation led entirely by the military, so i was thinking that perhaps Sloane would not have as much difficulties to lead the First Order as you said, i might be wrong though.

@@samuelebincoletto637 I agree with you, I want to see her lead the first order as well, but as I said before, I don't think she could lead the entire first order army but maybe a first order remnant after the rise of skywalker, but I don't think she is alive after the rise of skywalker since she was in her late 60s, early 70s before the force awakens if I remember right, and like you said the first order is lika a nation led entirely by the military which means they only care about strength and power and in the comic books Sloane is not at the same brutal power level as the first order, of course they can change that and make her a brutal first order leader but I doubt it because she doesn't feel like that kind of person, I think that's one of reasons why the first order chose Snoke

Ep 7 shoudlve focused on finn as the main character. Following his story from a storm trooper to revealing him as a force sensitive individual and he trains to become a jedi. Ep 8 should be ben's redemption arc. Make him cross path with finn as the latter's link with the force grow stronger and have Ben guide him after he leaves the dark side. Ep 9 should focus on Sloane as the new emperor and habe the two fight her in the final battle.

The emperor wasnt on the ship. Vader was.

I feel legends is better than Disney cannon as there is better story's in legends like force Unleashed 501st journal ect Disney cannon Squadrons Rebels and bad batch which is decent but not as good as legends.

The EU explains how the Remnant was formed, which happened when many in the Empire felt that the Emperor's way had failed, and that the Empire needed to change and adapt, while the rest of the Empire believed in being loyal to Palpatine's vision. The same could be applied to the formation of the First Order when it first started.

Plot twist: The imperial officer works for Disney and he is the reason why the sequel trilogy was bad. If he didn’t exist, then no first order, therefore no sequel trilogy.
