@@vanimaladventures I'm using it exactly the way it's intended. There have been many Oscar nominated and Oscar winning movies that got lost to history and are never spoken of again outside their winning years. They don't make any best lists, no one considers them classics and people don't bring them up when discussing the best films of the people responsible for making it. This movie fits all of those categories, so save your laugh emoji for your own ignorant comments and f off of mine.

Favorite movie quote,"so he's a nice guy, there all nice ĝuŷs, sooner or later he'll let you down".

The script is a masterpiece. Clock work

Absolutely not a masterpiece and I actually think the script was the biggest issue with the film. However, Clooney's direction, great actors, and a *good* script helped create a really enjoyable movie.

It's a great film, but you need to listen to every word to follow the story

Amazing movie. All star cast leading it made it a hit for me.

Agreed. Very slow burn. Most of the film was boring, and just as it starts to pick up and actually get good, the film ends out of nowhere without any conclusion

@@sumrandumguy7177 You just didn't get it! The conclusion is that the game of politics has completely changed Steven. He went from a guy with values and integrity to a guy who is just about winning. That is what the film was about.

Ironically, he is guilty of the very same thing that made him disillusioned about Morris. And he doesn't just want to win. He tells Morris he's going to get him elected, so he can realize those ideals for the country. He is merely disillusioned about Morris and about politics.

i love it when excellent movie stars who've been in acting most of their life start to produce and direct their own movies...win!

Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich den Film nicht verstanden.

Entertaining movie, but it felt like a long episode of House of Cards. It seemed like it ended too soon.

The only missing piece in the trailer is the one with the intern being fucked (pun intended) by the world of politics

Everyone in this is an acting heavyweight except Clooney, who always tries to find "deep" material, but always just plays himself... I think the only exception was "O Brother Where Art Thou" where he only played himself halfway. Like his idiot brother, or something. Clooney is a nice guy I'm sure, but his acting is so futile.

loads of highly rated and top earning actors are just the play yourself types sadly.

This movie looks like a cross between Syriana & Michael Clayton. All his movies just seem to have the same tone, the same speed, etc. i feel like seen this movie already...WITH this cast. The only movies of his I'm looking forward to are The Descendants and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. That will be a change up for him.

It wasn't a great movie, it was a good movie.

This looks great. Go watch TF3 if u want to see explosions....this is film making!
