I've watched many videos concerning making a Tandoor and various clay type ovens. This by far is the easiest and most efficient design build I've seen so far. The way the meat hangs off to the sides won't drip directly into the heat causing flare up's. Your design is the BEST. Thanks for sharing.

That's not tandoor any away it will not control heat and pott will be very hot out side . If you touch it, it will roast you faster then your food. Tandoor will naver be hot from out side .

What a lot of people don't know is that when a piece of meat gets a chance to just drip there juices like that, the contact with the charcoal creates a smoke that gives off the most tasting perfume to the meat. It's the key to great grilled cooking.

I've been watching homemade tandoori-type oven construction ideas till I was blue in the face. This is one of the simpler ones. I'd tweak it a little, but it has potential.

You should place the burning part incide from top to lower bottom but air vent should be opened instead of big hole.Also fat coming from meat goes in to fire and makes bad smoke so thanks but needs improvement.Good video though

Thanks for sharing I’m going to try it myself, it’s like a tandoori oven when you add the larger pot or a mini grill very versatile

I have a ready-made brick furnace.I will put the cube on it, but it is a little smaller than the stove you made. Is there a little trouble where it needs to get lower air?

Great idea! Don’t limit yourself to only four pieces of meat- pack it up all the way around with chickens, ducks, and more pork or even lamb!!! I would also cover it to keep most of the heat and treat it as an outdoor oven.

This by far is the easiest and most efficient design build I've seen so far.
