We do not need to bring someone down to praise another. Sudha ma'am has no doubt has immense achievements, but we cannot claim that Twinkle hasn't done anything either. Only academic achievements do not mean "achievements", this way you are only discarding all the efforts that homemakers put in their homes, which is wrong.

I have no idea how good or bad twinkle is as an author, but she might've achieved much as a person, as a mother, as a wife. You cannot deny those roles of her. Everything that is described is fine but "her husband was zero" brings makes it too low profile to describe Narayan Murthy Sir. He might have not had finances however his was a treasure full of knowledge. He was that rich . His is a gentleman of knowledge, humbleness and best conduct. I think otherwise. We Indians love our moms and ofc me too. They sacrifice a lot for our happiness. Selfless service and courage to face all the hardships of life. I have imbibed a lot of values from her. But my mother is not educated, as she came from a conservative family where only boys were allowed to read and study. I can only imagine had she been educated, I would not have to seek guidance elsewhere. My father is a humble and polite man and believes in gender equality but he has his own views. He is educated and the only man in his family (rather village) to be having a formal government job (Grade A). He also had to strive very hard since village had no electricity (up until 2016) and coming from a lower caste. He is my role model. When one is employed in something, he or she has ton of experiences to share with their children. And this enriches us and we look up to them. Though woman as housekeeper is one of the toughest jobs in the world, but a working woman can offer more to her children. [Assumption: moms are not as educated as fathers, due to limited opportunities as a woman; but ofc this cannot be generalised] "If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation".

Comparing these two women just doesn't seem right..

Its always a joy to listen to her, she has feet firmly in the ground. No false sense of attitude or notions about herself. Talks about the same value systems that I have adhered to in my life.

Being a mother, I love to watch her videos.. her words are simple , intelligent and inspiring to me.. the way she brought up her children is a model for every mom.. 🙏🙏

She comes from a different time, like our parents. They didn’t grow up with internet & all the technology available today, that kept them grounded & their awareness came from their surroundings & people they interacted with. While our generation has lost touch with the surroundings & people, what we really know is what we gather from the social media etc. I think it’s very important to stay in touch with our roots to know where we are headed.

Everytime I listen to Sudha ma'am, i get goosebumps. She is such a pure and pious soul. Wonderful! God bless her.

One of the gems. Words are limited to explain about a wonderful person like her. Absolute role model.

Madam Murthy, India would be grateful for the guidance you can provide to redevelop our judiciary system.... No one else can do this better than you can as you have an impartial way of looking at the world... The Supreme court jury are always a panel for grafting laws... But You also have to participate wholeheartedly... India is blessed to have You on board!!!

I just love Mam Sudha Murthy. Such an enlightening personality she is. Her oration skills perfectly blending with so much intelligence and wisdom that she possesses bewitches us to keep listening to her on and on. Truely a very well read, knowledgeable person to be listening to. Her face always smiling and spreading happiness and optimism wherever she goes. Such an inspiration to see Mrs. Sudha Murthy. She is a perfect example how people should be. Very grounded and challenging, yet a good daughter, a good wife and a good mother. There is nothing impossible for ladies to achieve when one wishes wholeheartedly. She fought for her engineering and her job alone when the whole world was on the other side. It's true one has to have good luck as well and circumstances and a right time matters alot.

From the day i started hearing Madam.Sudha she is like a Morale for me!

I respect her a lot. And I admire her in many ways. Surprisingly, in any interviews I have watched, she only talks about her son and never about her daughter.

It will be great if Sudha Murthy madam supports Dr Sunitha Krishnan to develop the Prajwal foundation as both of them are helping the women & society.

I read Sudha Murthy's book "How I taught my grandmother to read" it was a wonderful book. I am inspired by her.

Our country has been blessed with such amazing, empowered women with such intrinsic values .. Such a mentor to look upto...

Excellent conversation as always with Madam Sudha Murthy! She commands respect, this lady is from a different era. Rightly said by Twinkle, she makes us all feel like little kids in front of our favourite teacher. Someone you can look up on, someone to feel inspired. Mrs. Sudha Murty is an inspirational woman....very smart woman and humble too.

A great interview! Every time I read Mrs. Murthy's interviews or speeches, my respects for her rise multifold. She is gifted to have been raised well as a child, had her passions in studies, met a simple and humble life partner, and kept her feet steady on the ground and spends her life for the downtrodden and her life is a lesson to all. Though I know she is extremely rich , I have never seen her 'rich' as we see other Richies! God Bless her and through her, bless the poor and deserving people. 🙏🙏 Well done Mrs. Twinkle Akshay kumar! 2.5 million views and not a single dislike for the video. Goes on to show that Simplicity is the most appreciated virtue. A kind and simple being cannot have an enemy.

None can stop admiring Sudha Murthy for her simplicity,frankness and down to earth attitude.Similarly Twinkle Khanna evolving as not only a successful entrepreneur also as a strong woman behind a successful cine star.

The true light of enlightenment is "Sudha Murthy" she is full of knowledge that inspires others. I have read one of her poems in my early school, the poems and her stories that she write are beyond words. 👍🙏❤️💯
