Tuberal Nuclei (arcuate, ventromedial and dorsomedial nuclei): • Site: above the tuber cinereum. • Function: control of the anterior piuitary secretions by: 1. Secreting 6 releasing hormones: TRH, CRH, GHRH, FSHRH, LHRH, PRH. 2. Secreting 2 inhibiting hormones: GHIH, PIH. These releasing and inhibiting hormones are carried by the tubero-infundibular tract to be released in the blood sinusoids in the infundibulum, and then carried by the portal vessels to be released in the anterior lobe أسعدني حديثك يا إعتماد وبالتوفيق دائما ❤❤

السلام عليكم دكتور لدي سؤال لو تفضلت علي بإجابته لماذا لا يحصل التقيؤ عند بلع الطعام ؟( بصيغة اخرى في حالة التقيؤ الارادي يتم تحفيز ال vagus nerve (لست متاكدا تماما ) لماذا لا يحصل هذا التحفيز ويحدث التقيؤ عند بلع الطعام بصور طبيعية)

During swallowing, the esophageal gag reflex is suppressed to allow food enter the pharynx then the esophagus. This is associated with closure of the laryngeal inlet and relaxation of the lower esophageal sphincter to allow food passes to the stomach.

Activation of the swallowing center produces group of contractions with relaxation of the stomach. But if something stimulates the chemoreceptor trigger zone, it will cause stimulation of the vomiting center and contraction of stomach and inhibits the swallowing center
