Minha tia passou pela mesma situação, descobriu traição do marido com a prima dele e os dois já tinham até filho. Quando ela pediu o divórcio os filhos a recriminaram como se ela tivesse cometido um crime imperdoável. Fizeram até ameaças de que se ela se separasse do pai deles eles parariam de falar com ela e iriam embora. Minha tia arrumou a mala dos três e jogou no meio da rua e ainda disse para eles que ela nunca se submeteria um relacionamento fracassado para manter o relacionamento com os filhos, se eles quisessem parar de falar com ela que assim seria e fechou o portão deixando os três com cara de tacho.

I think the wife realised she lost so much during her years of being in a coma. She didnt want to waste more time being revengeful or hateful. She just wanted to move on. She didnt get any romance but she got her dignity, career and her independence back. She is really above being spiteful so she wanted a clean break from the meaningless marriage. She is such a strong woman. As for the husband and the mistress, they didnt get off scot free either. They wanted to keep their clean image but with their affair in the open, they were exposed as hypocrites. they both were looked down by people around them and they didnt end up together. The daughter is spiteful that her parent's marriage failed and she doesnt have a perfect marriage. It reflects on her own relationship.

I think this drama is confusing because I have inferred from other shorts that the wife was in a coma for an extended period of time. 10 years perhaps. When she woke up her children were grown and her husband had developed this intimate relationship with Susan. That is why she is not super forceful in her methods to deal with this. I think she prodded a bit to see what his feelings were and she doesn't want to stay married if Susan is now the one uppermost in his heart. I think she has decided this is the case. Her children seem to want her to accept Susan and stay in the family but she wants a life beyond being grateful for having woken up from the living dead. Also she doesn't want to feel that having woken up she has become another kind of burden to her family. Who wants to wake up from such an experience to then accept life as a third wheel. Her husband loves her in a way, he was responsible for her care for so many years and he sought companionship and grew close to this woman. Now he feel responsible and grateful to her as well. She also knows all his children and must have helped with them during the years they had no mother. In short, it is a complicated situation which the main character is dealing with as gracefully as she can. Also in a flashback we saw that the coma was preceded by an argument with her husband in which she was overwhelmed with being a stay at home mom and ran out saying she didn't want any of it. At this time she was a much younger woman. She was coming back, eager to make amends almost as quickly as she left when she had the accident that put her in a coma. So she returned to life with a memory of a breach that had not been mended. Another reason she treads so lightly.
