John Williams' theme is by far and away the best theme music to any show, ever. It doesn't get old. Same theme for like 30 years and it is STILL EXCELLENT.

The first two NBC Nightly News themes were their NBC Radio News On The Hour themes. "You've been listening to NBC Radio News On The Hour. Listen again on the hour for NBC Radio News."

I still like to see introductions of the Huntley-Brinkley Report from 1959-1963 sponsored by Texaco and Gulf.
