Thank-You, that was a new AC mystery to Me! The initial set-up of the crime reminded Me much of a particular Sherlock Holmes story, but Christie developed it in a style uniquely her own.

Feel free to share and explore some of the others I have posted. Some are better than others. Over time, my production value has increased, but I am still working to improve it.

You’d think that, at least in a Poirot mystery, they’d teach the thing how to say “Hercules Poirot”.

PLEASE NO AI! This is awful. Flat, no personality, no individuality, just bland spewing out of words many of which not realistically pronounced. Could not listen past 2 minutes.

Don't you guys realise that AI ruins all narrative, especially Agatha Christie.

@WestVirginia1959 Slight misprounciations here & there. 1:07 Hercule Poirot is correctly given as French: AIR-kyew Pwah-ROW. At 1:23, the last name by itself is pronounced POY-rott. Phonetic, wrong. Also at 1:23 "exemplifies" is rendered as ex-EM-plih-fees. Perfect till that last syllable.

Is this AI or just poor audio editing? Five mins in and already he has pronounced Poirot three different ways starting with Poy-rot. I couldn't tell when the over blown, long-winded intro finished and the story started. The pauses and inflections are often are all wrong and the accents a mess.
