I think these are bound to happen to future characters, otherwise they are not useful: - 4 star DPS with buff or debuff ability - Sustains (Abundance or Preservation) with harmony or nihility kit - Harmony with DPS kit - Other characters with new gameplay mechanic like "super break"

these pretty much all exist already, with maybe the exception of the 4star ops with buff/debuff. every good sustain now has harmony traits like crit buffs, Gallagher inflicts vulnerability. robin deals damage as a harmony, and leaks suggest(spoiler?) that Sunday will be an imaginary harmony character, maybe a htb replacement

She gives you a drink in her skill so…thats something!

Her with HMC will make any dps turn into a super breaking machine. SW at home.

I'm glad they went that route with M7 I'd rather have her evolve every year than a one-and-done 5* like DHIL

It kinda looks like she could be good in a team with boothill instead of harmony mc with a normal dps build and break effect boosts to boothill

She seems to be kinda tailor made (at least imo) for follow up units (she can be good for break effect teams, but I feel like she'd be harder to use in those teams), specifically I could see her being really good for yunli. Which just so happen to release along side her. I think March would be a nice sub dps in any counter FUA team, for now there's only Clara and yunli (blade technically, but he feels more iffy). Overall I'm just excited to finally have my rarely used LVL 80 March for something I could use in my Clara teams or FUA teams

Hate to break it to you but Im almost certain itll be a situation like Dan Hang IL where hunt march 7th is a different unit than preservation march 7th. In other words it wont work like trailblazer where you go into the character menu and change her path. I could be wrong though.

The benefits for break teams feel really out of place if that is the case though. My personal theory is hunt March is made with a future unit in mind that is kind of like a 5 star Xueyi (a break-crit hybrid DPS with follow up attacks) but maybe unlike Xueyi that unit will be able to trigger their own break damage like Boothill so that they are not reliant on HMC like Xueyi is. From rumors i have hward this description might fit Feixiao who is supossed to be as strong as Acheron, if Hoyo really wants to hype her up it makes sense for them to give us hunt March for free the same way they gave us HMC for free the patch right before Firefly released.

She's free till E3 for 2.4, just like how HMC is free till E5 only until we got 2.3 for the last eidolon. No leaks ever said she'll be in the gacha. Xianzhou arc is not just for 1 patch anyway.

Wouldn't she actually be a good alternative for Ruan Mei in a Firefly Team? She has high speed and can make Firefly break their toughness faster. At E6 she also buffs break effect.

Wish she wasnt another imaginary typed character. Think we need a wind character. 5 wind units (4 dps 2 being 5Stars) vs 6 imaginary (4dps, 3 being 5stars), now 7.

She has a trace that makes her a dual element based on her master's element, basically making her trigger the weakness break and delay the enemy which is better

I'll start with the bad news: I dont think Hunt March as she stands now in v2 makes it onto the premium break team unless you drop Gallagher and go sustainless. She's a decent F2P option to sub in but I dont think she's BiS. She just cant compete with the utility RM and HMC bring to the table. If I need the sustain I probably would only considering running her on my break team if shes on element because then so is HMC. I think using RM or Gallagher to access Ice or Fire weakness respectively with Hunt March certainly is an option but it seems kinda scuffed giving master to either of those two so I dont really plan on doing that unless theres some other unforeseen motivator involved. I do see a lot of potential for her in AS. The way I plan to use her the most is basically as a crit sub dps to run along with RM and whichever of my crit dps is on element for the floor. It seems like the focus on breaking enemies will be a defining characteristic for AS at least for the foreseeable future. Hunt March + RM are able to help any on element crit dps smash through toughness bars while still providing significant buffs and personal damage. Since AS is forcing even non-break builds to seriously consider toughness damage I think you can possibly get a lot of value out of building her for this game mode so thats what I plan to do :)

March definitely is meant for action forward teams like Seele since she cares so much on attack and skill to attack multiple times.

Giving us a free 4* imaginary hunt character when they gave us Dr. Ratio seems to me that she is probably designed to be kinda useless except as a diet version of Dr. Ratio for the suckers that missed him. Otherwise, if she actually was better than him, the fanbase would probably not be that impressed and would recovoke hoyo's previous generosity =P

She works completely differently if you looked at the kit that is explained here. Ratio is a debuff supported FUA DPS. March 7th is more of a sub dps that can slot into both break teams or ordinary crit teams as either main or sub dps. She has a FUA, but isn't entirely based on it either. She has different team-building restrictions and requirements, and you can probably even use Ratio and March together with her actually playing more of a budget Topaz in that case.

"Initially land 3 hits. After the final hit, has 60% base chance to land 1 additional hit (up to 3 hits)." That doesn't make much sense. If the chance to get an aditional hit only occurs on the final hit then she wouldn't be able to get "up to 3 aditional hits", she would get 1 at max. Surely it was meant to be "after each hit, has 60%..." instead of "after the final hit..."

After the final hit she gets a chance to have another hit, which then procs it again, which then may grant another hit, which procs it again. The way it is worded now, it always procs again after the final hit of the chain. It's kind of important which one it is bc it affects the odds. If it's after every hit, she has a 60% chance each time seperately, but missing one won't affect your chances to get the rest. If it is always after the last hit, then she has a 60% chance to get one and then ONLY gets another chance IF that 60% succeeded which makes the second one a 36% chance in total, and the third one a 21.6% chance in action.

Besides looking cute, she doesnt really do much. Her kit is pretty mid. Cant stack fast enough for enhanced basic and MVs on normal basic and follow ups are too low for endgame content. It nice that shes free and has awesome moves but for now, thats all she has.

She was hitting for 200k+ in moc 12 in the recent leaks showcase of her. She most definitely can do end game so not sure what you're on about there. Hell Hook and all the day 1 4 stars can still clear content. Just weird comment from you respectfully 🙏

Mid??? SP positive, up to 960% potential multiplier on her enhanced basic, 88% self dmg buff, High toughness reducing dmg, 10% SPD, 60% Crit dmg and 36% Break Effect buff on one ally, can fit into many teams Idk what kit your looking at if you think this is Mid

You don’t really need highly optimized characters just to clear endgame, the requirements are much lower than most people think. Since she’s a 4 star she’s not going to be extremely useful for normal players because the majority of the 5* heavily outperform the 4*, but then again, you don’t need everyone to be OP.
