This song has so much meaning on many levels. It represents first a love, then a mistake, then regret, then a yearning search, then a plea for forgiveness, then the admission of human imperfection and finally, the heartbreak of loss. Wow! What a rich and haunting song. I believe this song could stop any one of us that lived the eighties dead in our tracks to stop and listen to as we remember our youth with both a smile,...... As well as a tear. But that's what makes us,...... Human.

This will forever be a classic 80's tune. I just watched the old 80's video of this song. Lovely young people Singing like angel's. Then I did a search for a live version of this song. I can not tell you how much this feels like stepping into a time machine every time I do this with any artist. It's a bittersweet moment. First the shock of seeing the change in the artists, then noticing how they just can't quite hit those notes like they did back in the day. In the end I am always glad to see them, still out there doing there best and making a whole lot of people happy just to hear the old songs. Thanks, Human League, and thanks to all the artists from my past still giving it there all.

The shock is felt but are we all not older? The spirit of this song is eternal....one of the best put love songs that will last forever...I am so happy for the two young teenagers that went from dancing in a club to being world famous. Life is wonderful!

Queen Susan Sulley ❤️ and King Philip Oakey 2. Ace band. I will always love The Human League

Very very true m8. I am a mega big Human League fan. And I have seen the Human League play live 18 times now. And I have got a really nice photo of my favourite Human League Sweet ♥️ (4ever IE Joanne Catherall ♥️ my hero 4 ever making a dream of mine 2 come true for me to meet up with the Human League. And 4 the best night of my life so far) Simon Carol has a lot to arswear 4. And I have met him. I think that Simon Carol is a real jerk. Unlike the Human League

Love how his voice just POURS from the speakers. He has a powerful tone. No studio tricks with this guy.

I do really can't stop surprising with the stunning voice of Philip Oakley.. I never get tired of this wonderful song. No matter how many times I listen to it.. Every time its even better.

This is still one of my favorites by them. Out of their comfort zone with the R&B and I'm loving it still.

I'm 70 and been a music fan and musician all my life. Grew up in the 60s and 70s, but looking back I always find the 80s the best. Rock was young, fresh and a bit simplistic and pretentious as the 60s developed. 70s was the golden age of the great rock bands and the best of the best from guitar and vocal Gods Clapton, Who, Rod Stewart et al, but the 80s....everything you ever wanted on music - Flash, Glam, Synthesizers, Latin, Reggae, Drums as lead instruments, Punk, and immortal songs that sound as good today as 40 years ago. Lyrics that you can relate to, listen to without cringing, and just fine music and artistry. Throw in AC/DC as the thread to hard driving Rock n Roll, and you'll find the 80's has it all.

My Lord Greg, don't think ANY of us could Ever describe it Any Better. 80's Did have it All. I was just checking the election results & came across many old tunes STILL being sung So Beautifully & Perfectly by all these Wonderful Artists, as they were back when Life was So Much Simpler & All of our Soundtracks were written. What a Truly Magical, Totally Awesome & RADICAL Time to be alive & enjoying the Non-Stop Party....& Thank GOD we Survived it! I'm Also So Grateful to Have You Tube to pull up ANY Old Memory at Any Time & play them on the Big Screen & Jamming System...Just like #BACK THEN.

I'm 46. An 80s baby, and I must have been 10 years old when this song was released. Man, oh man, those synthesizers were everything. I can still see my childhood self rocking to these beats. Wow!
