one of the funnier things is that you can drive with a flat tire. You shouldn't, because it will eventually damage your wheel, but if it's a life or death thing you can absolutely just drive away.

Either way, once the stitches are torn, why not crawl to freedom? You're alive and have more mobility than you had before. Time to escape, not drown. I argue the girl alive in the middle at the end had a good shot. She can just get some glass and cut the stitches(or the other guy's flesh) off her face, and then do the same to the other side.

On a positive note, there was a lot of effort to make the cast as comfortable as possible. They were given massages regularly after filming, since they had to crawl around and that's rough of the back and limbs. So at least Tom Six has that going for him?

I don't even get how, even in the obscure would-be logic of this ... film ... the cr*p eating is supposed to work. Like, you poop out literal waste. That doesn't work like water in urin or something. No recycling possible, or am I wrong. This stuff is deprived of nutrients and minerals, nothing to get from that, or is it? Wouldn't that just mean that the guy would have two dead tails after a few days? (because they cannot drink as well) I'm not a doctor, but evil scientist guy should kinda... take that into account? But on the other hand I don't want to watch that thing of a film to find out if he considered that in his evil scientist monologue.

That actor who plays the "evil doctor" is actually a really calm and nice dude in real life, it's an insane difference between actor and role.

its a boring movie but i can handle this stuff no issue....as long i dont see organs manipulated by doctors i wont tears my eyes out(i feel sick whenever they show organs on tv even if just for medical purposes)....with this said...this movie is never gonna be on my watch list due to it being boring XD.....if had been shown during a school class years back i would have just ignored it to some fail drawings on paper......otherwise pretty much would have to force me to watch something boring or put a leet prize on the hook line XD

I get that body horror is a subgenre, I just don't like when horror movies don't say they're body horror and proceed to make people vomit. I mean, in a horror movie you can do both, but as you say: you came to get spooked, either because of the situation, the scenes, or the atmosphere,etc, so you can't miss the fear, that's the most obvious point. I think it could've been something better, like, if you are taking a gross concept already, you can at least make the story more interesting or put effort in something else, but what can we do now

At one point they (TW Human Modification) castrate a guy, and make it so that they can remove ppl from the centipede once they serve their sentence. Very fucked up :))))!

I can't imagine what it was like to just take part in this movie and act in it. What can the girls even say? I was the end of the human centipede. I would never admit to being a part of this. I would die before I ever let anyone know I took part in this movie.

The Human Centipede trailer thought me a life lesson. Some thing you just can't unsee. Ever since i have been more careful what i allow myself to see.

In high school my Spanish teacher asked what this movie was about. When we told her she looked horrified and softly said "I thought my last class was lying to me"

I gotta say, I'm genuinely impressed Amanda got through that. I feel sick just from watching this video.

I feel like that's why I love more classic horror/psychological thriller. Things like Psycho, The Shining, and Silence of the Lambs. They all have a degree of overt violence, but the fear is way more in the direction, tone, writing, acting choices, sets, music and cinematography. When the quality is high, a movie doesn't need to resort to cheap tactics.

I've seen this movie myself so I thought I would be totally fine and just able to laugh at her reactions, but I legitimately got LIGHT HEADED again just watching the edited bits and Amanda describing it. Oh god, this movie.

"Mama didn't raise no bitch!" This is by far one of the *BEST REACTION VIDEOS EVER!* After that line, I literally could not stop laughing. Holy shit I can't breathe! 🤣😂🤣😂

@@allier1867 Six actually asked a real surgeon to help on the movie to be as accurate as possible for body horror. The surgeon refused at first, because he found the premise disgusting, but a few days later he came back and got on board anyway

My toddler found a centipede on the floor right next to where I was sitting the other day. I threw him on my bed, while I looked for a shoe. Luckily the centipede hid in a washcloth so I could easily kill it. I did not sleep well that night.

I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Dieter Laser (Ze gut doktor) at a convention a few years ago (he sadly passed away in 2020) and he was the most charming, funny, kind man you could possibly imagine. He loved how everyone freaked out about this movie and took everything with kindness. His signature is among my favorites in my collection. Wonderful man, great actor.

Not really. Work is work, and nothing really degrading about doing a legitimate film. Not to mention a successful one.

It’s essentially a humanoid monster created by a science experiment, that’s like where it gets its shock value from. That these normal people are forced out of their humanity as their minds drift away from what makes one ‘human’ and towards that of a crazed feral animal after a long enough time.

It's weird, when I was young and this first came out, my friends and I could make jokes and giggle about it. But now that I'm older, it's so much worse than I remember.

The tombstone in his yard says "My dear three-dog" so his first experiment is buried there.

"We're gonna need a bigger alcohol." Priceless.

I feel the first human centipede was more psychological the 2nd one is just plain disgusting.

There's actually a lot of psychology in the second one as well. There are even theories of how much of it is a dream and his dealing with his abusive household and arrested development. Sure, it's gross and even absurdly so, but Laurence R. Harvey's performance really makes the film as interesting. The whole violence part could have been dwindled down by a lot and still keep the gross effect.

i think is the other way around...2 is the worst well made awful disgusting aproach of the concept...1 was an experiment...3 never could get into it due to the comedic tone...the first two at least you could see effort...disgusting...but effort....

This was one of those movies I actually had to turn off because it was just....not worth it for me.
