Since this is a common misconception, I'll note it here; 1.18 doesn't prevent you from skipping the rain, the thing you've heard is a bug fix that prevents you from resetting the rain _cycle,_ which is how a lot of servers ended up raining every other in-game day

Ugh on realms we have thunderstorms everyday, and sometimes you have to sleep 3 times in a row to get it to stop. We're playing on hard mode too so we get all the armoured zombies, it sucks

Hey Joel there's an enchantment book called "Water Protection (up until III)" in the Origins mod that prevents you from taking damage in water for X seconds depending on the tier. Its quite a hassle though since they only spawn in dungeon/mineshaft/stronghold library/underwater ruin chests

That house is genuinely in my list of the most interesting and cool builds I’ve seen in a while and I have no idea why. You say it’s a bit Aztec? I was thinking Japanese…and Greco-Roman in the interior space (don’t ask why). It’s like a whole new culture that could have existed in a different world. Sure, the Aztecs, Greeks and Japanese would have had to merge through a very whacky kind of historical anomaly, but it kinda works if you ask me.

Your build reminds me of a mix between ancient Japan and Aztec cultures. I love it!

Joel is officially a flame man, also I can't wait for this to be a really long series that people can watch back in years and say, " nostalgia "

For those wondering what the terrain generation is from: Terralith, it's a data pack which generates a bunch of extra awesome biomes

You could say, "Always be Blazin'," if that strikes your fancy. I'm really loving your temple-house.

steady rewatching this series cause i love it so much!! all of the different themes(lives) were so intriguing to watch 🥲❤

New to watching this series. BLOWN AWAY by all the incredible mobs!! And the items you can craft are just flat out AMAZING. Love your origin story, your strengths & weaknesses (silly perhaps but esp tour being immune to hunger effects as I always seem to run out of food at the most inopportune moments.) Will def be watching to see how this progresses! (:

As the season progresses you'll end up with even more stuff for various things. I think as you go on a different themed house for different themed items would be the most fun and efficient way to categorize your stuff instead of putting it all in one pile of chests! Also allows you to build more colorful and themed buildings and identify materials much quicker in a little village of storage houses!

Joel's either gonna need a cover system for his paths or an underground tunnel system to avoid the rain haha

Your base is gorgeous!!! Very exited to see where this new series goes!

The starter base almost reminds me of some kind of fire church, and it's really cool (also, seeing blazes struggle with the water problems is always hilarious - there's a water protection enchantment as well as an umbrella in some versions of origins, I'm guessing you might be interested in both!)

Joel never fails to make his build amazing.

I love it!! When I work on smaller builds for a base I give myself a basement for storage, there’s a lot you can do underground.

Joel immediately going to the scariest places (the ocean and the nether) and vibing just fine makes me think that his afterlife as a blazeborn might last longer than most Oh and Scott found a cool volcano somewhere so maybe that has some blaze themed blocks

Joel, I have to say that the texture on the blocks were really really cool and I absolutely love them like the pack maker must be so talented as well as I also really appreciate and like your building style and builds in the game

Your build is absolutely wonderful! I loved the colors! It is so sad that you are suffering so much in the Overworld and Nether (but I am also having so much fun watching you) hehe. Good luck, blaze boy.

This series makes me so happy, it reminds me of one life, which was the series where I started watching your videos 4 years ago. Ive rewatched your one life series about 4 times at this point and I usually watch most every video that comes out. It’s very surreal to say but you are actually my comfort creator, whenever I’m bored of one genre I can come back to you and find an equal middle where even if I’m burnt out of Minecraft I can just listen to you ramble about killing chickens lol. Man, since Terralith is installed, Joel really missed out on building in/on a volcano or in the nearby area of one. That would've fitted his origin a lot! Still in love with this whole new series. X-Life was and still is my favourite SMP/series and I can't wait to see more of this!

All the mods im aware of is betternether, terralith, Chipped, Xaeros MiniMap, BetteranimalsPlus, Origins, REI, Visuality are in this mod pack When they hower over items you can kinda see the ids through which we can use to figure out the mods I think they use fabric

The nether mod that you guys are using is an absolute nightmare lol. I’m on a origin smp and we have the almost exact same mods. I started off as a strider and it was practically impossible to get out 😭😭. We ended up scrapping the nether mod lol

Hello Joel, I've got an idea: Maybe you can hollow out the Blackstone portion of your house like a basement to get more room, because all these mods require a lot of room. Hope this helped!
