The Hype that is being put out about the new Skeeter FXR is missing one thing and that is the fact that if you want to run from 1700 rpm' to 3200 get ready to start porpoising. I have a FXR21 Legend and should have got a ride in one before i bought the one i have

@Top Dawg that's what mine is a ss140 I don't have any problem with porpoising my prop got a little bend so it shakes a little but I just need a new prop great boat so I was going to get the nirto z18 or just do a repower on the old one

After having both, I’m a fan of the “cheap rubber” rod holders. Love the Skeeter though

I just upgraded from a Triton to a 2020 ZX225, friggin love it! Unfortunately my wallet didn't support the FXR20, it was either food, water, utilities, and other needs or the FXR20.

Couple of dings but nothing bad. Compression tests all came back good. I tried not to run full bore all the time, treated the gas, and garage kept!

I switched to HB for the 360. I love lowrance...especially ability to customize waypoints...but 360 is something i really want

Add some fancy seat handles and put a protruding design on the side. Charge 80k. Skeeter is laughing to the bank at the guys who just “need this”. Same thing as the Ranger 520L 50th anniversary for 100k...add minimal features and charge an extra fortune.

You couldn't be more wrong. That boat is completely redesigned from the bottom up. The only thing that is old is some of the dash components from the FX line.

The way they did the front end makes me think of the VX boats from Vexus.

not by a long shot. but when I made legit offers on boats I was laughed at by a local dealer. by legit I mean 3k off a certain used boat. Wiedas wants to always be moving boats. and that boat I got laughed at....well within a month it was dropped 3k. Moreover on this trip to weidas I met another couple who traveled from the area that other dealer resides in....and they also knew the same salesman by name. And there they were...at weidas

They are all really great boats. If money aint an option go ranger or phoenix phx...it comes down to a chevy vs ford. As a coangler the boat that has not been impressive to me has been triton. Ranger, skeeter,nitro, phoenix...have all been quality rides to me.
