JUMPED IN MY SEAT SEEING THIS NOTIF YESSS Odysseus really is known for his sneaky, strategic tactics in pretty much all myths, poems, and plays mentioning him, a skillset more prized in Greek heroes than you'd think about(Perseus was also sneaky as his main character trait, and even ultimate hothead wrath-was-his-main-flaw Heracules used trickery sometimes). It helps that he's associated so closely with gods like Athena and Hermes, both known for sponsoring more stealthy, shrewd sorts of heroes. Here you can see even Zeus, notorious for his fickle alliegances to the Greeks(Acheans) and Trojans alike, is willing to warn Odysseus specifically of what "the will of the Gods" truly is -- Hector's son must die, so Odysseus and his family may live.

Gonna have to wait a while to watch the entire musical in animatic form considering the musical isn't fully out yet and other than released track like WOTM and Survive is very much a work in progress. But...we are getting the ocean saga this 25th, so thats something to look forward to. You could give those a listen in your spare time even without reactions

These animatics are so much fun to watch.

I. Vaguely, remember the Odyssey in freshman year of high school. Granted, it wasn't the whole book. It was like a summary between the ending. Then we watch the movie, which explained more.

@@alexeysimushov4971 The funny thing is, I went from being interested in this stuff to becoming an actual Hellenic Pagan, so this stuff literally became my religion. I never could've imagined The Odyssey as a musical, so part of me is convinced Apollo had some hand in inspiring Jay. Epic has given me something to look forward to. I sometimes say the wait for each saga is killing me, but it's quite the opposite. I'm so glad that more people are discovering Epic, because Jay and the rest deserve it.

I think it's funny he calls Ajax little. In the Iliad Ajax is described as a giant of a man.
