I got a set of the red split pad compact and really happy with them. Feels so much better in the hand. Yes the lack of rumble and gyro, but they just work better for me

I got the Split Pad Compact in white and love them. I also just received the new tomtoc carrying case yesterday made specifically for the split pad compact. Definitely worth getting!

I bought these last week and very happy with my purchase. I find gaming on the switch much more enjoyable now especially games that use the right stick eg Doom and Bioshock. I have another pad for docked play and don't care about gyro, amibo or rumble. Only downside for me is having to buy a new case for when I take my switch on holiday

I found them at Walmart yesterday, but $50 was too much for me, they had 1 dark blue for $24 and that was a great deal. They make a big difference while playing handheld mode.

Love the full size split pad pro. I think I do miss the hd rumble though.

I have had two sets of SPPs and the right Ztrisger has bust on both. This is due to playing a lot of driving games I think. I wonder if these will be any different. Are they still membraned?

I guess you could map the left joycon's back button to L3

I just got one of these and it’s not too bad. I also have the bin bok slim. They have pros and cons to each of them but they aren’t too bad

Im considering between the hori compact and binbok slim. What do you think are the pro and cons of each?

I'm in Japan and it seems the Split pad compact is on sale. Plus the weak Yen and I might just get the red ones. I hope I can get the attachment as well.

Wow I completely agree mai dude! The Split pad options are almost perfect.... But they have other issues... Steam deck is super comfortable. Merry Christmas brotha!

Merry Christmas man. The size of the steamdeck is the reason it’s comfortable but oddly the same reason I don’t bring it everywhere

If someone released joy cons in this size, but with wireless and proper hd rumble, I'd buy 10 of them. Shame all the wireless options are really cheaply made. Had the binboks, and they snapped at the rail with relatively little force. Also no joycons have hd rumble other than official ones, and I'd rather just have no rumble that crappy rumble

I think Nintendo really needs to design bulkier joycons for the next gen Switch (whenever that comes). Because seriously the joy cons are just too tiny. Both in terms of the grip and buttons and sticks.

I do agree. The joycons were a GREAT idea but are not the most comfortable

This is way for joycons of switch 2 the confort is perfect

TomToc have release a case for this now!

I got the split pad compact and last week got the zelda oled. I tried going back to joycons so my switch can look cool with the zelda joycons but I just cant lol. Had to go back to the hori compact.

@@julienmelnick you’re a few weeks old Edit: jk lol, obviously. Or am I? But for real, Tomtoc makes the best switch cases. I’m glad they made one for the compact. I’m waiting to see what hori will make for Zelda. I think they said they are doing some tears of the kingdom themed stuff.

The right joycon can map the joystick click. That’s about it 😂.

I still find my self cramping on this new hori the pro one is still better and i play competitiveshooter games the pro is more precise
