I'd hoped for it to be replaced with something more existentially fulfilling and effectively utilitarian, whereas what we "get" is the same nightmare chopped into tiny pieces, served "a la carte" at premium exhaustive cost, with 80 years of work you can collect all the pieces of the life you never wanted to inherit, but there's nothing in its place if you don't sell your labor for their profit.
