I think it actually means "Goodbye Mr.Anderton" as he was the of the band member's english teacher (forgot what grade) and they wrote this song as a tribute after he passed away.

Me too, been looking for this song for ages and now I'm on cloud nine that I finally found it!😄😁 I first heard this song in FIFA 08 game in my N95 nokia phone, I was so obsessed that I played the trial game many times just to listen the song yet I still didn't clearly understand the lyrics hahaha. Although I didn't know the accurate lyrics and title of this, fortunately after reading the ' about game' info, they included title of the song of their soundtrack that's why I'm here now on youtube, gladly listening to this song😄❤

I think I may be overthinking this but... the next time the chorus comes up, specifically when it says "Goodbye Mr.A" I kinda hear a "-ds" sound at the end of it, so it's like he's saying "Goodbye Mr.Aids"... but to make it even more interesting, we can kinda hear a specific work from it all. We get the "G" sound from "grades", "r" sound from "Mr.", and with what we have with the "A" sounding like "Aids"... it's almost like it's saying "Grades"! Also, I may be overthinking this one even more but... when in the chorus it says "if life is subtraction, your number is up, your love is a fraction, it's not adding up.", it feels normal.. but when I think of it more, it makes only a bit of sense... almost as if things were mixed up. "if life is subtraction" is the opposite of "adding up" for obvious reasons, and "your love is a fraction" and "your number is up" can also be together as a fraction is supposed to be less than a whole number... so being "less" than a whole number compared to being "up" from a whole number... if that even makes sense.. perhaps it's intentionally mixed up because, if i'm correct, this song is supposed to be something about a teacher failing their students somehow/in some way, which could be the reason why the lyrics are mixed up if the singers are supposed to be the students, showing how they may get things wrong just because the teacher failed to teach them.. specifically in a way they could feel like they're learning than being forced to suck in info...
