The Hood CNN: How Zack Stoner Documented Chicago | Complex World
Ойын-сауық
Complex World is our docuseries that goes beyond the headlines with real issues and real news. This week, we bring you the story of Zack Stoner, an independent citizen journalist, who was shot and killed in downtown Chicago in May of 2018. Stoner gained local fame for his gritty videos that chronicled a life in Chicago that was rarely captured by news cameras. Naming himself the "hood CNN", Zack interviewed up and coming rappers such as Chief Keef, Famous Dex, and Lil Durk on his KZread page ZackTV1. We speak to Zack's family, the Committee to Protect Journalists and Ntare Mwine, who plays Ronnie on the Showtime series The Chi about Zack's legacy and impact as a documentarian of Chicago's Southside and why his death remains unsolved.

Ofc no one mentioned that he got murdered after starting to openly investigate kenneka Jenkins crime which just confirms what we already know. Kenneka was murdered
His familiarity and ease with all the Chicago legends was so impressive. Everyone he interviewed felt like they were relaxed and real when talking to him. Like people trusted him enough to be themselves in front of the camera.
I’m glad y’all shedding light on bro’s hard work. He tried for his city fr fr.

That girl was killed for her organs after being beatened & raped. The white folks in Rosemont covered it up & said she died by freezing to death ; which is a fukn lie. The females she hung with set her up & lured her there. Her momma filed a 50 mill lawsuit against the hotel & security company in hopes of uncovering the cover up AND THIS IS WHY ZACK WAS KILLED. Rest in peace to the legend. You gave us all a different view on Chicago. Showed us how they really live out there, from their back yards to the front door. You did it. Respect.
Zack made it, only after he passed. One time for Zack
Shout to Zack TV for putting me on with the Chicagoland Rappers. Thanx for coming to Baltimore a couple of times to. Rest In Glory: Zach Stoner.....
Thank you for showing homage to Zack I’ve been watching him since his L’A and Rondo interview he was a unicorn 🦄 in Chicago one of a kind was welcomed in all neighborhoods and well loved!
You guys have to watch Zack’s YT channel. His older videos of his vlogs and live videos he had when he was talking about being pulled over by the police, the phone calls from random people giving him warnings to watch his back, plus more. They’re saying on here he didn’t have any enemies, but according to Zack’s videos it’s the opposite.
Rip Zack he had so many classic interviews such as chief Keif first interview LA Capone,Rondo, fbg Duck, lil durk and any Chicago artists that’s made it in the last 7years came through Zacktv .everyone who likes Zack tv should check out 16 shot visualz he is doing similar things as Zack did
