This is my candidate for the funniest sequence film of anything mankind has ever produced. I came close to chocking to death in 😂 laughing in looking at this.

The color that they installed in this black and white series reminds me when I was young at Christmas time...my dad would install a color wheel for our Christmas tree and it would constantly change colors...still give an A+ for the addition to the black and white series...

Love how everything's in that drawer.

Bus drivers here in NYC get assaulted, spit on and beaten every day. I could never understand the hostility toward bus drivers. They're totally benign, hold no authority, and are not required to confront non-paying passengers. Yet the crazies target them. Maybe because they are sitting and vulnerable. Hope you're in a more civilized city.

The faces of pain Ralph makes when being hit on his back are hysterical..Comming in second to Ed's bufoonery.....Their talent is timeless.

I am still sad that Joyce Randolph (Trixiie) passed away 2 1/2 months ago. at 99 will love the Honeymooners never get tired real life real acting!

This is really nostalgic right here I appreciate this I always wanted to see how it is in color, I saw a one lost episode in colors, it's so good to be part of the Baby Boomers, Generation X, Xennials era and I am a generation x a early seventies baby so just to go back to my childhood when this used to come on WPIX channel 11 after The Odd Couple back in the late 70s early 80s makes you feel real good excellent job once again, I feel like I'm watching one of those old Ted Turner color movies on TBS back in early 80s

The clothes ! The hair styles ! The decor ! I remember as a kid....I was hatched in '48 in the last century

I used to watch the honeymooners with my dad during the summer when school was out and I could stay up late.

This is one of the very best ever!

I really enjoyed and was very entertained by watching this colorized version of the 1956 comedy classic. And I enjoyed and was entertained by the additional footage added here as well.

This is great! I don't remember ever seeing any of the honeymoons in color this makes it a different experience!

They're NOT in color. They were colorized, and poorly at that, which instantly ruins it for me.

In 1952 when I was 5, we got our first TV. It was small but we were so happy with it. The first show I remember watching is the Honeymooners. When I hear the Honeymooner's theme music, I just want to go back to those days watching it. It makes me so sad.

I would love to see these colorized if they do it right. They did a very good job colorizing a couple of I Love Lucy and Dick Van Dyke Show episodes a few years ago.

The thing about the Honeymooners, as opposed to I Love Lucy, is that it doesn't need to be colorized. The Kramden's were so poor, that their apartment was so drab, and dreary. They had nothing of true value, or excitement that would stand out in color. Whereas conversely on I Love Lucy, the Ricardo's were so affluent and café society, that they had a lot of things that would pop in color. Lucy's trademark red hair is enough of a reason alone that the show would've been great in color.

Thank you for speaking up. I had thought about saying something, but thought I would get shouted down. This show, arriving in television's first decade, about a lower-class family, their lives and surroundings, when most of broadcast television was in black-and-white, and most people had television sets which would only show black-and-white, was the perfect reflection of that moment. It was meant to be funny (who could quarrel with it's status) but it was not meant to be pretty. The show, and it's visual, grabs you from the moment you see it. The great opening score, with the moon with Jackie Gleason's face on it, just screams the 1950's! (And yes, I know the original broadcast version of the show's beginning was slightly different). The essence of the show was in black-and-white. And, no, I don't think it's "terrible" that someone colorized it. I just think the original stands on it's own.

When the TV stations in Miami went on the air, it must have been amazing for the few people in Key Largo that had a phone, electricity, and a 20-ft TV antenna to watch this. Tavernier had a few households with higher sticks. Islamorada and Marathon reception was ridiculous unless one had a tall tower with a high-gain antenna, and at that point--try for Ft. Myers. In the 70-s The Keys had repeater towers to Key West, and those lasted for many years after cable-TV.

This show was on waaaay before I was born but when I first laid my eyes on Alice I was in LOOOOVE. Her and Janet Leigh from Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho”. Knockouts. The both of them.

This video was one of the first that experimented with " added " colors back in the early 70's but, it wasn't perfected until late 90's, early 2000. People were divided on the reason to colorize and they put it off for a while but, now you can't tell which one is original or colorize. They should try it again with this show.

Why does everybody think the colorization is good? Dark objects flicker between dark blue, brown and pink.

It looks dreadful to me. The show was originally aired in glorious black & white. It should be preserved in its intended format. I feel the same about the "colorized" episodes of I Love Lucy & Bewitched. I wish color enthusiasts were less enthusiastic about using their crayons 🖍

Its not a great colorizing job but that's because of the dark environment and the way the Electronicam film came out. It was a new process at the time.

Agreed. Maybe they should also change the familiar theme music for "The Honeymooners", heard at the beginning and at the end of the show, when the credits are rolling, written by Gleason, "You're My Greatest Love." Maybe they could take the original out, and insert rap music. What an awful thought...

Lousy job at colorization. Leave it in monochrom/black and white. I've see high definition versions of The Honeymooners that look allot better.

Sorry, but ANYTHING colorized is an instant block. Nothing personal. Don't mess with the original. Plus, the first 10 seconds was all I could watch, since the colors kept shifting. Again, DO NOT mess with the original.

They're probably not doing it with harmful intent. They're just doing it because they can, and have the tools to do it with. But if they truly respected the essence of one of the great television classics of all time, they'd simply leave it alone.

Nobody's interested in watching an American icon, other than the way it was intended in 1951 children of, I don't know what! Redland! Television was only out for 2 years, then! Don't push that on us! Us baby boomers will be gone in a few years. After that, you do you. But don't expect overwhelming niceties from us about it! There wasn't dulux or technicolor in that day in television kid's!

It wouldn't be so bad if the colors didn't keep changing from one second to the next like most "colorized" results. Many people's minds don't function very well, so I guess they don't care. Like all the people liking Facebook AI scams on Facebook, thinking they're photos no matter how many errors they have.

I dont like any b/w being colorized.

Alice was a horrible conniving selfish wife. Just watch some other episodes and you'll see what I mean. ty

The colorizing looks awful. I could not watch. Leave it like it was originally. Im sure Mr. Gleason would agree.
