Yes, it was meant to be. Everything happens for a reason and a season. It was their season to be in the US doing the show. It was a reason that the gentle soul (the homeless man) gave those words of wisdom to Jungkook and Jimin that day. You truly can see that they treasured what he said and shared it with their bandmates. That life lesson help to mold and make them who they are today.

Never get fame get into your head. BTS inspired a lot of people. They always remained themselves and handle the ups and downs of this roller coaster ride we call life. That homeless man was a prophet

When I watched the show originally I was happy that BTS wasn't anything like some of the fans that looked down on their experience. Those that think the time in America had no influence on BTS. They imposed their own implied biases upon BTS.. thank God BTS was better than that and because they were so accepting/ respectful of other people who were trying to help them advance, I became a fan. 2014 I was and still am a fan of JYJ who left for military service but never regrouped. I was heartbroken and BTS helped to heal that heartbreak way back in 2014.

The homeless man has taught BTS to be humble and true to themselves and their fans I love the fact that they still listen to the homeless man's words till this day.keep inspiring others and continue being true to yourselves

BTS is one of the reasons why ARMYs learned self love and accept imperfections.. they also taught us that being true to ourselves is the start of happiness, they are one of the examples that idols or artists are human beings too that they feel pressured, they beat themselves to perfect a performance, they sometimes think of quitting, they feel sad/lonely, they get affected on what people say wether it’s good or bad, and the most amazing thing to me about what the boys can do best is that they stay humble and grounded, the homeless man really did make an impact on them because what the man said to them really reflected what BTS is... Good reminder to everyone to be yourself. That youre worth something and even if you make a mistake ( love the way Rm says "Mistake") that's okay too because youre always learning. I believe the members were already great, considerate, grateful people before they met those people in the USA. They had already experienced a lot even by then and Bang PD was always encouraging them to be true/genuine in their music. If they weren't good people, it would have been blasted everywhere, since they were hated so much, not as humans, but because they were a threat to other groups chart positions/awards. Of course throughout life you will meet people that will impact you, whether big or small...and it doesn't hurt to be reminded about not losing one's self in the pursuit of your goals. I'm thankful for anyone who has impacted them to be great and humble human beings, but in the end, I give all the credit to the BTS members themselves...they are the ones who decided that this is how they want to live and be remembered as..humble good people who love music and wanted to share it with everyone in hopes that it will make people happy and help anyone who needs it.

How can you say that they show their true selves? Maybe through their fabulous music this is true but I often hear that both Jin and and Hobi are serious guys, that Taehyung is ultra romantic, sensitive honest and direct, that Jungkook is wild. We see only a little bit of this. I love it when they show who they really are. They are so inspiring but when they hide behind their KPOP personas it is hard for me. I am just one of those people.
