A lovely recording, right at the end of the 78’s so excellent quality. 1953 for the first LP’s I think?

RCA did in fact commercially produce the first vinyl records in 1930 but they were not begin to become mainstream until the early nineteen-fifties as you suggest. The shellac technology was indeed well-developed and pretty good by 1953. Many thanks.
