You know, there's a reason why these 3 makers are in the top ten list of 90% of collectors. These are overbuilt, well built tools that are made to last a lifetime. Great video brother, and I've got to say, the XM24 blows the 18 out of the water😮 Yes, I said it🤫 The SMF is my favorite. Also, congrats on breaking the 800 sub mark🤘🤘

I've never even held any of those knives much less owned one. I would however be tickled pink to own any one of them. If I had my druthers though, I'd have to go with the Inkosi...I think🤔

Chris Reeve's are best imo. Thought they were overhyped till I got one. Took a sebenza apart and put it together and I understood. Now I have an umnumzaan and an inkosi. I have an xm-18 gen 6 but haven't got a real strider yet, just the Protech sng. I got my first Medford, the 187dp and fell in love with it. Think I'm going to get a marauder next.

Dude i have the 187 and i did the same thing. Medford really should be in the top of anyone's list of American knife companies. The quality of all of these guys are just amazing.

  • @abc456f

@@dtomknivesandgear6635 I agree. That 187 locks up like a vault. And for such a thick stock, the edge is very thin. Just a beast of a knife. I've read these knives are built to take time to break in. I've probably opened and closed it hundreds of times, and it still feels exactly the same as the first time. There is quite a bit of resistance when closing the blade. I'm going to drip some knife pivot lube in there to see if it smooths out at all.

Strider feels the best in hand, I like choils a lot. Hinderer is the strongest and aesthetically my favorite of the three. Non-flipper variant is there for larger hands the tab would poke but flipper looks best. Chris Reeves is too elegant for my tastes. Also the wasted space between the blade and handle sucks and would have been better as a choil. Hinderer > Strider > Chris Reeves imo. How would you compare the AD20 to these?
