Hello, my name is Alina, I live in Ukraine. Today I want to show you 2 delicious recipes. Baked duck with apples is a classic for me. But I decided to improve this recipe a little by adding oranges and a delicious marinade.
Duck marinade:
- soy sauce
- teriyaki sauce
- honey
- orange juice
- mustard
- dry garlic
- smoked paprika
- turmeric
- black pepper
Cherry cake:
dough:
- 200 g of pure pork fat (can be replaced with butter)
- 300 g of homemade sour cream, or sour cream with a fat content of at least 20%
- flour (add gradually until an elastic consistency is obtained)
- 15 g of vanilla sugar
- cherries (pre-covered with sugar)
Cream:
- thick sour cream with a fat content of at least 20%
- powdered sugar to taste (the cream should be sweet)
- coconut shavings for decoration

I love the traditional masonry heater central in the house. A wonderful European solution to heating, cooking and providing the comforts of life. The North American "Black Stinker" wood stove of a metal firebox and that's it and smokes out the whole neighborhood with blue and purple high creosote smoke because they cut the oxygen off to the fire and stuff it with huge logs. The masonry heater with chimney channels that wind all about and even have a heated bench or channels under a bed base is most practical. A hot fast burning fire where the gases wind about through the channels and fully combust so when they exit the chimney flue no smoke is visible except during start-up for 10 minutes or so. Wonderful central heating and cooking and baking.

That duck must taste 🤩🤩out of this world! For Christmas I was in charge of the turkey, and I used a sauce with orange and honey🍯🍊 and it was yummy, an orange sauce imposible to fail. Very beatiful your meal. 😃👋👋🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🇺🇦
