In the center screen, it's Cubase 5. He´s using the score editor. And in the screen at the right I see some Virtual Instruments, one is a Cubase Synth, another one is HALion I think, and the big one could be Propellerhead's Reason in REwire mode!
This is a great movie. I really love the dress that the girl is wearing during the opening credits. Does anyone know where I could find one like it?

Is the girl on the screen his ex girlfriend maggie she does look like her.
Is there any little chance that you know the name of that piece? I really want to have that song but wherever i loo i can't find it!
