The Union Forever (TNO Mod). Is still alive and there's plenty of info and work being put into it. Also you used their teasers for a completely different mod. They usually post their discord link in the TNO Reddit when they post their teasers. I'm surprised you didn't check out the discord link there because it's easy to find and the teasers literally have the symbol of the mod. Just saying I'd say you should remake this and try to find stuff better

Yeah they make amazing overhaul projects that are basically a whole different game but 90% of them either aren’t released or are abandoned after a few months

As a Roar of the Gryphon dev I take great offense to being called the "same as Age of Imperialism" and the mod is nowhere near lost/abandoned, we are close to release!

I know a little about The New Redux: from what I understand it's basically a The New Order redux, similar to Kaiserredux that plans to incorporate most of the submods and restore some of the crazier focus trees.

Howdy! As the original guy who made Rise of Italia, I have at least somewhat of a memory of the original lore of the mod. all before "Agemo" took over since I think 2020? The basic lore premise was simple: "Italy spawned another Napoleon-like figure. He grows in strength and popularity within North Italy. After a battle, one of the Napoleon Clone's cannons somehow got a lucky shot and killed Napoleon himself. Italy re-unites the peninsula incredibly early, and has its empire from a way earlier point in history. Only for it to slowly be clawed away from it by the other great powers, initially at once, but then slowly. It's been way too long, but I hope this explains things enough @Seaners.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but I think I knew the dev of "The New Millennium". My friend was on their discord server in 2020, so I had all the information from him. I don't remember much, but the mod assumed a world in which in 1699 or 1799 there was a revolution in Spain, leading to the takeover of power by the Spanish version of Napoleon, who conquered a large part of Europe. The mod was supposed to take place in 2001, when the Spanish Empire enters the new millennium with extremely advanced technology. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything else. In my spare time, I'll ask my friend if he remembers anything else.

Godspeed lore from the discord, Anyway; - There's a reason why this mod is about winter; WW1 killed over 70 million people, left the Franco-German border in utter ruins (EDIT: And the Rhine as well), and the dust and smoke that resulted from the war is enough to cause a small ice age. The mod isn't just about the victory of your nation; It's also about the survival of your people. - It's set between an alternate 1934, all the way to 1946 (And, eventually, up until 1954 or so). There is no set point of divergence, though the changes had already begun in the fifth century. - As you may have gathered, Mus'Hulini, that is to say muslim Mussolini, rules the south of Italy (EDIT: He does not), which has syncretized with the arabs, while Evola rules the north. They can have a sword duel over the fate of Italy, with Evola using a super-edgy anime sword with power levels and shit, while Mus'Hulini uses the Sword of Islam. - Evola wants to reunite the Roman Empire under his insane reign. We don't know whether he actually can, but in any case it's not good news. - Technology is more advanced, and some wunderwaffe shit exists. Nukes aren't a thing, but spider tanks are, helicopters can be built in the 40's, and some very basic cybernetics can be created in the late game. - Parts of New England follow the religion of "The King in Yellow". IIRC, it's just a slightly more paganistic and superstitious version of protestant christianity, but don't quote me on it. (EDIT: Evidently, I'm wrong) - In old lore, it is implied that some degree of paranormal and magic stuff does exist in this world. That may have been rettconned, though. - Apparently, if all UltraNats win, then humanity goes extinct. - My glorious Argentina exists no more; Instead, it has been replaced by the perfidious Catalans. BTW, the Spanish language doesn't exist since arabs conquered all the Castillians and Portuguese. - Parts of Europe are uninhabitable, incluiding the center of Catalunya. Also, the grass doesn't grow in Northern England no more due to the ridiculous ammount of pollution. - Talking about England; As we know, it's been conquered by the French. The French have turned it into a true hellscape; Englishmen live in pathetic misery, racial theories in France consider them to be subhuman (Think of how the nazis thought of the slavs, maybe a little bit less severe but still), and a big insurgency has been quelled recently. - Nonetheless, were the Angevin Empire to fall into civil war (Which it likely will), then England may be free once more. A loyalist fraction will remain, lead by Mark Sykes, who the French consider to be "The model Englishman". Otherwise, the rebels, lead by Bernard Montgomery, will take over. They may also form the UK, though I suspect that that is a high misery path. - Because of francophobia, English has remained a mostly Germanic language. - Talking about misery; France. The current emperor of the Angevins is a huge idiot. We're talking, HUGE. Caused WW1 as a whim, does not believe in nuclear physics (Think of the nazis' Deutsche physiks), and is overall a bad person. He'll die eventually, and there are three possible successors. Of those successors, Charles, duke of Calais, is the only low-misery one, as he wants to turn the country into a parliamentary monarchy, and turn the Englishmen into equal citizens, in an attempt to create an Angevin national identity. - Himmler can take over the HRE. I don't wanna think about it no more. - The anarchists in Ukraine can't actually take over the world, but their faction can. There'll be epilogues about it and stuff. - With many of the devs being part of the old guard in TNO (With the mod being known as a "Retirement home for TNO devs"), Godspeed will follow a similar narrative-focused gameplay, wherein most of the vanilla options (Create faction, boost ideology, justify war, etc.) are locked in favour of a more railroaded experience. - Apparently there's a dude in Central Asia who wants to conquer the world. Doubt he'll be capable of it, though. - Bravo, AKA French Texas, AKA YEEHAW FRANCE, is a very multiethnic country, with Frenchmen, Catalans, and Englishmen, among others, all having to coexist. Naturally, the Englishmen and the French hate each other and regularly clash, which is problematic since they both form the elite. IIRC civil war cannot happen, but issues will nonetheless arrive. (EDIT: Yeah, civil war CAN happen) I think that's everything.

During COVID lockdown I used to play crossover world mod nonstop, so much that it became the new "Vanilla Hoi4" for me, I'm still wondering why this content-rich mod with so much charme isn't getting that much attention

Hi, iceberg creator (and coincidentally creator of Historical Geographic Overhaul, actually) here. HGO was the predecessor to Mappa Mundi. It was a map making program, built in HOI4. Also I am taking all feedback from this video into account! I’m surprised I let that one duplicate slip through the cracks. Love the video!

Ha, cool. You know I always had ambitions to make a hgo/ mm Magna Europa submod everysince the resources for the huge european map xame out. Sadly other than considerations from other devs nothing mich came of it and I myself wasnt a skilled enough Modder to initiate the framework. Thats mostly why I didnt have any motivation to contribute anymore

Would add a few words about Stahlvorang (and other mods this team is creating). Friend of mine is one of the GFX designers in Curesd Day, a project made by FPW Team (C.D. Sahlvorang and Fallout Pre-War) and they are still working on the project. Actually about Stahlvorang, the main developer and admin on their discord server multiple times said that they continued the work on projects, but they wouldn't make the public announcements

(I will try put my comment again) When comes to Red Dusk mod... Im on there Discord server and I also know there mod been few times steal and upload on Steam as Blue Dusk with early version of mod. As a native Pole and a big fan of Pride and Fall but not a dev I need to say that your explanation of the mod is really inconsistent with reality, as mentioned already by few. Generally, it's a humorous mod inspired by TNO and Old World Blues that presents an alternate vision of near future where the European Union was centralized into heavly German-oriented alliance in fear of Russia and after Trump won 2024 elections and later disbanded NATO. Putin after a humiliating defeat in Ukraine disgraced himself and was overthrew by the oligarchs and military elite what made him seek refuge in Kaliningrad, with Alexei Navalny replacing him and establishing corrupt nationalist - populist rule (and is probably hugely dependent of aforementioned oligarchs and military commanders). Meanwhile in Poland the 2023 parliamentary elections were won by Law and Justice what allowed them to rule for the next 4 years, during which the country became increasingly subordinated to the party, and with subsequent affairs and scandals social dissatisfaction grew, which reached its critical point with the incident at the nuclear power plant in Bałuty, which was the nail in Poland's coffin, leading to the invasion of European forces summoned by Polish Euro-democrats who consider the government as complete disaster, and the disintegration of the country into hundreds of factions and statelets due to the government not committing itself to the Rousseau's social contract, basically proving to be extremely incompetent, possessive and unable to ensure stability and security. In the West of Poland, Eurocommissariats subordinated to Germany (TNO reference) but led by Polish Eurocrats were established, which sooner rather than later will also break apart into many warlord states. There was no nuclear war but the makeshift and provisional character of the factions + Bałuty nuclear incident, as well as the devastated Poland make it being considered a kind of post-apo in a sense. As for COVID pandemic, there was a point in lore where the next elections were cancelled under the pretext of pandemic restrictions (don't know if it's still canon now). And above all, the mod itself is semi-serious, referring to various Polish jokes and memes about politics, sports, culture, pop culture, history, etc. which mostly only Poles will understand (though even here not always since some things are really obscure). And so we have both well known (creator of the Witcher - Andrzej Sapkowski, Rafał Ziemkiewicz proclaiming his coal version of Brotherhood of Steel, Jacek Sasin who is famous for money embezzlement) as well as obscure and cursed ones (Czech-Japanese politician Tomio Okamura who takes power in Kłodzko Valley, schizo Jarek Lichwała, Carlist Jacek Bartyzel, Socialist Viking Adrian Zandberg, and so on). Recently new update appeared that focuses on the city of Kalisz which is based on Roman Empire and ruled by Ryszard Kalisz, with various references to Rome, like the film "Quo Vadis" based on the book by Henryk Sienkiewicz under the same title. You can touch on many other topics here, but I think I have briefly discussed the most important ones. I may have made some minor mistakes here and there, but in a nutshell that's the point.
