The Hobby Lobby Decision
Trump Supreme Court pick Gorsuch's hearing begins today. He's ruled against dumb govt mandates on birth control. Good! Business owners have a right to decide what to cover. But the left hates that. I debated @JessicaTarlov:

Her statement “If you have healthcare why shouldn’t your healthcare cover all aspects of your healthcare”. When I got the new “Obama care” I lost my coverage for eye exams and hearing, but I picked up prenatal and contraceptive coverage - and yet I’m a man who is 65. Why am I paying for what the government wants covered and not what I need covered?
The government's job is to alleviate anxieties?! 😂

alleviate is spelled CREATE. or GENERATE.
You can all blame FDR for putting that crap in Tarlov's head. The 'Four Freedoms' are great until you realize that except for the first two (speech and worship) its not something governments are formed to do, and will invariably screw up when they try.
Ahhh... "If Clinton Wins..." --- I just love seeing that.
you need to be more aggressive in my opinion and point out that regardless of "law" its still theft
Eating is a right. Why isn't food included in the health plan? You need it to stay alive!
My biology force me to exercise in boxing. So, people pay my gear and the gym and the car to go to the gym and the gas and the supplements. Oh, the gym is far away from my home, so pay for my hotel. Remember the movie Idiocracy?
You have the right to make your own choices. You don't have the right to ask others to pay for it. Can't afford birth control? Stop engaging in sex.

if you can't afford the front door, you could always just invite your friends in through the back 😋

My policy is if you can't afford condoms or birth control, you definitely can't afford a child

Ron Helton I read your post. The Truth is we already pay for everyone's mistakes or even accidents. Everyone has the right to use Emergency Room without ability to repay. How would you fix this?
Yes, her opinion is all that matters to anyone she forces to accept it.
that women is a good argument in favor of abortion.
My head exploded at "The purpose of government is to alleviate our anxieties... and make life as easy as possible for us." It sounds like her daddy walked out on her when she was young.
The new bill of rights 1. Make life as easy as possible 2. Free birth control 3. All of womens needs are provided by the government

Vasectomies are covered by health insurance.
I'm so sick of democrats saying that if we won't pay for it, we are restricting their rights. You want it, you pay for it. If it truly is only 10 bucks a month, that's five from each person. How is that impossible? If you can't afford that, you have bigger issues.

Bigger issues, indeed. Perhaps the biggest issue is selfishness (self-concern). That truly is the source of all evil. It's got "me-me-me" written all over it. Anyone can take care of self without being selfish; it's called responsibility. But expecting things and services for free is pathetic at best, and self-crippling.
Insurance should cover all of a person's Healthcare needs, or should be ridiculously inexpensive ( i.e. $50/month) and only cover emergencies. With insurance currently costing hundreds per month then it should cover all Healthcare needs.
Ugh this woman is one of the reasons why we are now trying to fight late term abortion. You don't get to scream about women's reproductive rights and then kill babies!!!
I am waiting for civility from the leftists and liberals since the Supreme Court ruled against unlimited abortion rights in Dobbs.
How about if you can't afford to buy protection you don't have sex, problem solved.

How about if people like you that tell people that if they can't afford protection they shouldn't have sex have to pay for their protection.
