In this tiny band room The Hives showed why they're one of the most exciting live acts in the world by making the entire crowd jump non-stop for their entire set.
The Hives anticipated new album Lex Hives is out on June 5, 2012. In celebration, the band is taking over Noisey. Every day this week, Noisey will post exclusive video footage from The Hives performance at Webster Hall Studio on April 26. The buzzed-about underplay at the 300-capacity venue was widely acclaimed, with MTV praising their "Superhuman capacity for consistent excellency," and SPIN anointing Howlin' Pelle Almqvist as "one of the greatest frontmen in rock."

Saw em at Irving plaza in NYC. Best show ever! The band was fuckin terrific. They played for 2 hours at least including encore. On top of the band being excellent, the crowd was great! Crowd surfing, clapping, yelling lyrics, all of the above man. Good stuff. The hives are a priceless ticket so buy em for however much they ask when they come within 3 hours of you!
