honored to be CEO
The first time I watched Wreck-It Ralph, my dad took one look at King Candy and said "Put a hat on that guy and he's the Mad Hatter."
You forgot to mention that The Princess and the Frog will be getting a TV series and that Splash Mountain will be re-themed for it.
The start of the Disney Revival Age, the best Age of Disney alongside the Disney Renaissance.
I was born in the Dark Age of Disney animation. However I am glad I saw features like Wreck it Ralph and Winnie the Pooh in theaters. I can’t believe these movies came out so many years ago.
I'm laughing so hard at the scene of Harry Potter vs Winnie the Pooh. As a huge Harry Potter fan myself, there was no way I was going to pick Winnie's film over Harry's to watch that summer on theatres. I feel bad for Winnie though, because I would have definitely watched it if it had come out at a more quieter time at the theatres, it seems like a sweet movie.
I'd rather watch Winnie the Pooh over any Harry Potter film.
The Princess and the Frog is about to be the new theme of Splash Mountain!
Thanks in part to Pixar, the decade of producing computer-animated features with fantastic storytelling and awesome concepts has officially begun. Now Disney has finally found their part at making their successful animated movies.
Maybe if Winnie the Pooh would have been released some other time so Harry Potter didn't bother it.
Ariel walked so Belle can run.
Tom Kenny as Rabbit
Disney: Say can we have Bowser in our our movie?
Wow they actually made the Sugar Rush world out of candy in the behind the scenes
The original animation look back walt disney animation studios ended with the princess and the frog and everyone was wondering if he would continue the saga
Gotta love Jim Cummings
I'm gonna be honest, if I had to pick Harry Potter or Winnie The Pooh...
Not only are we now in the Revival Era, but we're also at the point where I started watching Disney films on the big screen regularly again. Heck, this set of films brought in some new favorites of mine, including two of my favorite princesses (Tiana and Rapunzel), a favorite underrated character (the Backson), and one of my top favorite Disney films (Wreck-It Ralph).
Here's another fun fact I was surprised didn't make it in. The character designer of the villain of Princess and the Frog was Bruce W. Smith, the creator of The Proud Family TV show. The idea behind the character was a "What if" scenario if Captain Hook and Cruella had a child, and that's what came to the creation of Dr. Facilier. Though if I were to be completely honest, I literally thought the look of the character was based on Oscar Proud, since Dr. Facilier looks awfully a lot like him, and like I said, Bruce W. Smith created the Proud Family show.
Can't believe it took a year to finish recapping where the original animation lookback of Walt Disney Animation left off 11 years ago and now we are finally looking at the Disney Animated films of the 2010 decade.
