2:13:39 I am an Indian Christian btw and I have to say this clear and loud . Bharath Ganarajya 🇮🇳 stays 'Secular' because of its 80% Pluralistic Major Hindu Population. The existence of Hindus in majority inside India is Paramount and Non Negotiable. The day Bharath looses it's Hindu population , it will stop being 'Secular'.....got it ?. Cuz either it will be an Islamic Shariah State like Afghanistan OR Communist state. We the Indian Abrahamics inside India - ( Jews , Muslims and Christians ) are 10,000 % safe regardless of us also being Hindus Civilizationaly and Culturally... This Evangelisation of Monotheism is a Cancer started by Middle East due to which we the Indians have lost our Sacred Motherland's Vedic Territories (starting from Gandhara / Kaabul).

Whether or not Pakistani hate India, they do hate Hindus. This has been my experience dealing with Pakistani for over 10+ years now. It shows up, often in form of off-the-cuff remarks, followed up with an admission-- an uneasy mix of being startled and general awkwardness. I used to pass these things over but now If I sense a shred of Hindumisia, let the other person know of my reservations.

Not only Hindus but all religious communities except islam were/are/will secular. And only muslims, because of their religion islam, can't live/stay/mingle with all other religious communities as anyone can see wherever muslims are in majority, muslims want dirty cruel barbaric age-old islamic law and wherever muslims are in minority, muslims want secular law - even muslims will start agitation by demanding seperate country like in China's western part ujgairs, Russia's Chechen, Mynamar Rohingyas, Phillipines Southern region. Even muslims in Canada start claiming once a while in future, there will be majority islamic community & therefore islamic law will be embraced in near future. Same is the case with most of the European nations.

Secondly, you guys talk about the Pulwama attack, while you guys invaded Pakistan in 1971 and disintegrated it. On the other hand, Pakistan never supported the Khalistan movement. Thirdly, I'm glad that our intellectuals have the nerve to speak against our leaders and praise India on several issues. On the other hand, I've never seen any Indians praise Pakistan. Additionally, India has blocked Pakistan's participation in the SOC meeting as of today, March 22. Watched the whole podcast in 7-8 installment due to the paucity of time (bcz I hv to look after my studies as well.) There are few corrections I would like to make- 1. Privy purse was not abolished right after the independence but in 1971 by 26th amendment by Indira Gandhi. 2. Army has never been used against the naxals, it's the duty of state police & then CRPF (Central reserve police force) 3. There were two operations in Golden temple- Operation blue star & Black thunder. In Blue star, Army was carrying the operation & black thunder was civilian operation. 4. Nathuram godse was not from RSS but from Hindu mahasabha, Indian judiciary has confirmed this. Same statement given by Rahul Gandhi, later he had to apologise to RSS. 5.As far as Media is concerned, they enjoy complete freedom in India. If you were indicating the BBC issue, then what BBC said was totally against the judicial system of India. Indian subordinate court, High court & supreme court has given cleanchit to PM modi in Gujrat riots case, that too in Congress era when Congress tried its best to crush modi. So BBC can't start its own judicial proceedings, it had to face the wrath of Indian people. 6. As far as Opposition in India is concerned, they are completely discarded by the people of India as far as Central election is concerned, yes there are many states which are fortress of regional parties & BJP couldn't defeat them. It's not the job of BJP to revive opposition party who are still carrying their earlier style of politics that is Dynasty politics, caste politics, etc. 7.As far as secularism in India is concerned, no party & I repeat no party can dare to alter it. It's the basic structure of our constitution & more importantly, we the people of India (majority) are by nature secular, it's in our DNA. India is secular not bcz the constitution of India is secular but bcz the people of India are secular except for some minor fringe elements. At last my humble request to you brother, I consider you a highly educated, rational & respectful guy, so plz don't say like Modi ne ye kar Diya, Modi ne wo kar Diya. He is the prime minister of the largest democracy of the world & moreover he is highly loved PM. So atleast call modi Sahab or PM modi. Humble request 🙏🙏

7th point - a polytheist religion is always more tolerant than monotheist religion though out the written history. For eg in ancient polytheist Roman Empire, far less Christians were executed compared to Christians killing each other( catholics vs Protestants) Here we have the similar situation again. For a polytheistic majority, other religions are just another god and thus “secularism is in out DNA”

I couldn't believe my ears when he asked that question at 2:13:26, because if anyone in india says on a public platform that india is secular because we have Hindu majority and it wouldn't be possible in an islamic one, he/she would be harshly criticized. Because we believe that secularism is not an option but a necessity. So very brave of you to ask, and I would go one step further that Pakistan wouldn't have been created in the first place if its creators were believers of secularism.

Personally I don't care about Kartarpur because Guru Nanak preached that you don't have to go to any pilgrimage to find God or get closer to God. Even though he was born Hindu he disapproved of Ganga Snaan and many rituals in Hinduism. He equally disapproved of Muslim going to Haj Pilgrimage. If Guru Nanak appeard today...he will be shocked to see how Sikhs have totally against his teachings.

The hatred towards India might be a little less compared to Hindu, but nobody can deny that Hindu hate is the core of the existence of Pakistan as a nation because Pakistan was build only and only on Islamic terms. We can see in the history during the national movement, khilafat movement was not for freedom of India from Britishers, but a revolt for the khalifa which was far away from the Indian subcontinent. Had people in Pakistan taught about Indian valley civilisation and their actual identity which dates 5000 years back then things might have been different. The problem comes when there is a sheer ignorance of ancient identity which is found in the subcontinent and dates back to 1000's of years, but instead people search and relate their identity with a religion which was recently born in the middle eastern desert and look for their validation who anyway think that the converted muslims of these south asian countries are nothing but a third grade citizens of pan Islam.

True. Pakistan does have an identity crisis and is either running to Arabs or Turks for validation. The fact is Muslims and some Hindus (RSS) etc take their religion too seriously. Either side the hate is I believe not for the country but for the religion. Regardless, being a pakistani I'd never want my country to merge again. I love my liberties and way of life and freedom as much as an Indian enjoys his or her own.

Look dude, the biggest empire that could be considered as remotely INDIAN was the Maurayan empire and that too was patchy as even at that time Tibet whose capital Lhasa was an independent empire along with Ancient Farsi Fire worshipers. My point is INDIA was never a single entity but a SUBCONTINENT of several different Princely states and empires which changed from time to time and after the arrival of BRITS the name India was coined from Indus which is Of course in Pakistan now. And at the time of Inception of Pakistan and INDIA those states were given independent choices to choose one of the countries. All those names whether it is Bahrat and other complex names in Sanskrit or any other text are actually CULTURAL hallmarks for different Regimes of different empires. Even if you still disagree then I am afraid you have that Typical BHAKT ideology till this day.

Answer to the Mushkil Question: Yes, it is. India is secular because it is a Hindu majority. Indian secularism and secular civil discourse do not come from the constitution. Instead, inspiration for a secular constitution is very much drawn from thousands of years of assimilation of diverse and pluralistic thought processes. India was secular even before the word 'Secular' was forcefully introduced in the constitution by Indira Gandhi in late 70's. India was secular even before the first idea of Pakistan was thought out.

Main reason of Division ? English plan at least 50 years ahead, Hindus also knew that with Muslims around they will never get India. Poonja Chap whom we fondly call Quaid e Azam was a Parsi, he was launched and his CV built up, initially it was said he is Agha Khani, but Ismalis did not accept him. So in 1900 it was revealed he is a Sunni Muslim. Hindus were in the game , they started promoting Poonja Chap as a great Muslim leader. Secondly at end of WW2 Russia, who had defeated Germans , had 5 million strong well trained army and they could just march down to Indian Ocean., American and English , changed plans, Hindu leaders were tasked to create a fear of Hindu majority. Poonja Chap played his part. A buffer state using loyal subjects who helped English regain India in 1857 was created. Hindu Muslims had lived side by side for over 800 years, by inciting riots, Poonja Chap got 1.5 Million Muslim, Women, Children and men Slaughtered and handed India to Hindus, who never had any claims to rule India. Initially English had planned to leave in June 1948, but were told Poonja Chap was about to conk off, so they left immediately in August 1947, Poonja declared independence on 14 August without knowing where are the borders. Once Poonja had played his part Border were announced on 17 August. Rest history we know

@@ThePakistanExperience PM Narendra Modi and Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif met in the Russian city of Ufa on 10th July 2015. A historic joint declaration was released after the meeting which made “terror" the core issue of the India-Pakistan dialogue process. The joint statement didn’t mention Kashmir. It was a first in India-Pakistan diplomatic history, but Nawaz Sharif was heavily criticised for it back home. The result? Just 16 days after it, India saw the Gurdaspur terror attack on 27th July 2015. Three terrorists, believed to be from Pakistan, killed seven people including the superintendent of police. Terrorists targeted a bus and a police station. Gurdaspur is a border town and shares a boundary with Pakistan. 25th December 2015 came again as a surprise with PM Modi’s Lahore stopover while on his way back from Afghanistan’s capital city Kabul. India still believed that its civilian government, headed by Nawaz Sharif, could be given a chance despite the Pak army’s terror tentacles and its terror extensions in India and despite the venomous anti-India rhetoric of its radical establishments. The sudden visit to wish Sharif on his 66th birthday and to attend his granddaughter’s wedding was a big diplomatic signal, but Pakistan failed to respect it. Just seven days later, on 2nd January 2016, India saw the Pathankot terror attack. The Pathankot air force station was attacked by five JeM terrorists from Pakistan. Like Gurdaspur, Pathankot also shares a border with Pakistan. The terror attack by Pakistan-based JeM terrorists killed seven personnel. KARTARPUR CORRIDOR - BETRAYAL EVEN ON FAITH Kartarpur in Pakistan is where Guru Nanak spent the last 18 years of his life. It is symbolised by the Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib, the final resting place of the founder of Sikhism. The place is religiously and spiritually connected to the Dera Baba Nanak shrine, located in the district of Gurdaspur, in India’s Punjab state. The Kartarpur Corridor links these two places and offers visa-free travel to devotees. India sent two of its union ministers, Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri, for the corridor’s groundbreaking ceremony on 25th November 2018. Just two months on, 44 CRPF personnel were killed in a dastardly suicide attack by a JeM terrorist in the Pulwama district on 14th February 2019. The opening of the Kartarpur Corridor on 9th November 2019 was welcomed by India and other countries, but Pakistan used this religious and spiritual connection to push separatist sentiments into India. The official video by Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had posters of three slain Khalistani separatist leaders Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Major General (dismissed) Shabeg Singh, and Amrik Singh Khalsa.

That a Pakistani wears a Virat Kohli T-shirt does not automatically mean he loves India or Indians. False equivalence ! A lot of Indians have lost lives from Pak sponsored terrorism plus 2001 parliament attack plus 2008 Mumbai attacks. I am not even covering many other attacks. Our govt didn't retaliate even when they had the will of the people on their side. We have exercised extreme patience with Pak. 54:49 India very rarely used the army to quell internal dissent . Most of the anti naxal operations were carried out by central or state police forces which were under civilian Home affairs ministry , not the army. The only 2 situations I can think of the army being involved in internal disturbances is Kashmir and the north east conflicts (Nagas, bodos etc.) . I think this happened mostly due to the fact that these 2 regions are near international borders, close to the already existing area of army influence and operation . The Indian national congress under Nehru and later leaders were paranoid about coups and the power of army , and hence always kept them under tight financial and operational control and at a distance from the general populace . One thing to note though , the military does get involved in relief and rescue operations during times of distress or natural disasters.

I disagree with you regarding military coup. 'Boys' can't just come up to power in all countries, it depends on how much the democratic values are entrenched in society. Also India is kind of coup d'etat proof. (My understanding comes from reading book of Edward luttwacks coup d'etat) In India army, navy, airforce were separated for the longest of times until CDS was appointed recently, so there was little room for coordination. Except for Syria all coups are done by Army. So if a country makes sure there's decentralisation of power they can effectively fight any attempt of coup d'etat. India's paramilitary forces, border petrol forces (BSF, ITBP,SSB),central police forces, central industrial security force etc. are all seperated from Army for this reason. All 28 states of India have their own police forces and center can't intervene in law and order unless there's an exceptional scenario. So in order to have a coup d'etat in India. Army has to get control of all Indian police forces, paramilitary forces etc. And not just capture New Delhi but all major state capitals while fighting protests all over India. Logistics of it is just enormous.

I wanted to hear about various things from Muzammil Shah bhai but some how he was confined to the topic of current political affairs. May be another seating where he gets to talk more and gets to share ideas on various topics would be great. Thanks 😊

Awesome podcast. Nice knowing Pakistan has a next generation that is not only intellectual but also truthful. These podcasts will definitely change the mindset of PPL in Pakistan if not today but surely tomorrow. 👍

This is exactly the point , pak plays good cop bad cop , on one hand these moderates speak of almost being Indian and we keep having incidents like 26/11 Mumbai attacks , which these moderates conveniently forget
