Love these. I have a Tom figure {Italian} version in mint con,never opened with hat/scarf/SS and still sealed. My prize toy.

I would have done anything for those as a kid. I am a huge Dr fan and I loved mego toys. Had most of them but never even know that they did Dr who.

It's funny that they called K1: Giant Robot

I imagine it had to do with the Target Novelization, which also called him that?

Terrific!

I was always drawn to having the Tardis set, although my childhood mind desperately wanted it to be dimensionally transcendental! It was the same with the Tardis play-tent. You might as well stand under a tablecloth.

The only thing i was disappointed with was the size of the Dalek, it should have been at least 2" taller, otherwise it was a great model. Does anyone know where i can get repro ears for my K9, can't find them anywhere and i know they were available?

You probably want to see if any recasters do that over at the MegoMuseum

Marvel comics did feature an IRON MAN mask with nose briefly around 1973 or '74.

Mego's Iron Man allegedly had a nose because the head was originally intended for a Dr. Doom figure.

that was a long running fan theory but it turns out Iron Man had a nose in the comics for the period that Mego designed the figure.

It's the double whammy of Mego collectors AND Doctor who fans that drive the prices up.

This I never watched as a kid.....or to this day ...never got into dr.who...maybe I should give it a try.....✌👽
