Fun fact: the original “pumpkins” were actually turnips because we didn’t have pumpkins in Ireland. These look wayyyyyy scarier. They’re a bit harder to carve but look amazing. If anyone’s looking for something to do in quarantine I’d give it a go And also a couple of really old people have actually asked me to sing/dance or recite poetry before I get my “treat”. As this was still done in Ireland until maybe 40 years ago.

@victoria rook I feel really bad. People are saying they’re really scared. I mean in Ireland (or where I live at least) Halloween is supposed to be uncomfortable. I hate horror but we make our house actually scary and scare people with props, music, effects and lots of other stuff, including little kids. Guess I never thought people would hate them so much!

This video is incorrect everyone knows that the mortals and monsters couldn’t live in harmony thus resulting in halloweentown. Halloween was when the mortals made fun of them by dressing like them. And most importantly HALLOWEEN IS COOL!!!!
