This was such a family staple in our household. My mother didn't care about the torture scenes, she just let us watch the whole thing and paced along with us.

@@Sachin-pt1op I dont remember but, the idea is that Jack only trusted the mole, so he cut comunications with ctu, they couldnt reach him. Only the mole was in contact with him. Firs 2 seasons are the best for me, specially Season 2, how are you likening it?

Damn it!!! This has to be the very BEST tv show ever... I'm watching it again..... for the 9th or 10th time I honestly lost count. I have all 8 seasons on DVD but right now I'm watching it via Hulu. Great show. President David Palmer, Bill Buchanan, Michelle Desler, Tony Almeida, Chloe O'Brian, and of course Jack Bauer are my favorites. I plan on watching it again and again and again. I'm on the 8th season right now. Once I'm done I'll wait a couple months and start all over again. I give you my WORD.

Thanks to Amazon Prime, I was able to binge all of the seasons plus the movie and I would seriously do it again if i could! This show was addicting as fuck! I never had so many near heart attacks from the various twists and turns!!! Jack Bauer is also a great character and David Palmer is also best tv president..EVER!

I am watching the Virginian season 2 and 3 .1962 and 63.Love it I didn't see all of it as a kid I am 55

the movie is one of the greatest unmade projects ever. at one point Tony Scott himself had pitched it to Kiefer Sutherland, but Scott died before the production could realized. seriously, imagine Scott's hyper kinetic style in a 24 story.. it would be like a match made in heaven. it's such a shame it never happened

amazing series

Of all the falls this show had at the end, the biggest was the executives not realizing 24 is Jack Bauer, and Jack Bauer is Kiefer Sutherland. Everyone else can die or be replaced, okay maybe not Chloe lol.

Spoiler Alert: 24: Legacy did not capture anything except low ratings and terrible storylines.

There has to be one last season with Jack getting out of Russia and a Major ‘24’ The Movie

I'm still pissed with the way they ended Jack Bauer's story!!

As much as I love “24,“ it really should have ended at season seven or so. I agree season six was by far the worst of all the seasons, and am glad they managed to redeem themselves a fair amount in season seven but by the time season eight and “Live Another Day“ came about, the show had become pathetically predictable. “Legacy“ could have been at least decent if they didn’t try to make Eric Carter a carbon copy of Jack. Well that, and introducing a new type of villain; by that point, I was pretty sick of seeing Moslems every other season or thereabouts.

The 2000s killed it in tv dramas! 24, Sopranos, The Shield, House MD, Dexter, The Closer, Law & Order, The USA network Blue Skies shows like Burn Notice and Monk etc. Idk if we'll ever see a golden era like that again. Tv is far less creative today.

I had begun watching the series at the 7th season. I was only 11 years old and my sister would try to get in trouble for watching this. 😂 good times

My idea for a 24 sequel is as follows: Jack Bauer have spent twenty years in prison in Russia. Now an opurtunety to escape emerges.Two co-inmates has dug a tunell out of the prison. They escape but a hunting party comes after them.They decide to splitt up.The two co-inmates are soon catched,but Jack Bauer manages to get into a truck and gets out of the territorry. At the same time a team of german rental killers appear and starts the hunt for Jack Bauer.They has new equipment that makes the hunt easier. Soon Jack Bauer is tracked to a cabin in the mountains,and he has to fight the rental hitmen of. He then manages to sneak into a freightboat heading for a desolated island. On the island they leaves ten cases in which Jack Bauer is in one of them. He breaks out and discover he is alone on the island. But he finds a secret installation underground. He also discovers an old vhs with a tape inside. On the tape he discovers a secret society called "TheOracle"that is behind all the missdoings he have had to endure. He finds a way to lore them to the island,and a final battle takes place. Afterwards it is unclear if Jack Bauer survived or not and that concludes the 24 episodes each lasting for an hour :o

The show was originally supposed to be a romantic comedy set at a wedding but they scrapped it after Kiefer Sutherland was cast. Day 2's wedding subplot is based on this original premise. Great video

24 was gold. Every season was good to great. Legacy could have been a break out hit, but they focused more on diversity, than telling a good story.

kinda weird that the first episode of this air'd in Nov 2001 only 2 months after 9/11

Legacy crashed and burned faster than a single Bauer "dammit!"

24 was the best action show ever! I don’t think FOX gave 24 LEGACY enough time for the ratings to grow!

It's too bad Legacy never took off.

I always wished that they could’ve ended 24 with a definitive ending, either let Jack have a happy ending or kill him. One more season would be great, sadly it’s unlikely to ever happen.

My biggest problem with this series is they didn’t fully utilize the number 24. It’s obvious the first season was 24 hours with 24 episodes and each episode represents an hour within that time frame so if you watched it in real time the first season would really feel like one day. Then they completely ruined this show by repeating the same concept for 9 seasons. So in the corse of this series Jack Bauer had 9 days of extremely bad luck and each day felt like a roller coaster ride dealing with some international threat. In reality there is so much more they could have done season 2 could have been about Jack having to complete 24 tasks to save his daughter or his country. In Season 3 they could have done a 24 day scenario or even a 24 week scenario. 1. Jack having to collect 24 items 2. Jack having to kill 24 targets 3. Jack having to decode a message that is 24 letters long 4. Jack has 24 minutes in each episode to complete a mission or task or someone dies. 5. Jack having to protect a witness who is 24 6. Jack has to get 24 million dollars or someone dies There are so many ideas involving the number 24 and they completely ruined and waisted so much potential and in the end the series just became a joke and is not that remembered or well loved.

It wasn't day by day per season, it was one bad day in that specific year. 3. 24 is regarded as one of the best tv shows ever made so to sit up and say that no one remembers it or that it isn't well loved is just silly. I agree it was Best television show ever when they went to season four and ran every episode back to back to me season four and five were the best. I thought live another day was much better than the ratings gave it I miss that show I remember it and house being on on the same night I was in Tv heaven Then. @@romcapprotti7477 - I am talking about the entire Star Trek franchise of TV series which has spanned 50 years with a new series at least every 10 years. 24 only had one decade's worth of series and the last series called Legacy was dead on arrival. The star trek TV franchise also generated over 10 movies on the big screen. 24 does not even come close. Over a billion people have seen a star trek episode of on kind or another. Star Trek continues to have annual conventions attended by people across the globe.

Legacy was never set to be about Jack,I loved it a lot,i just rewatched it a few days ago,and i found more things in it that i liked,Carter was every bit that bad ass that Jack was...Most people hate it because of the black actor,so mant racist,hateful posts when it was announced.i know lots of 24 fans who enjoyed Legacy,it has all the action of the Jack episodes
