The History Behind The Ford Model AA Truck A Narrative Pictorial 80 Vintage Photographs
Ойын-сауық
This video is a brief narrative pictorial of the Ford Model AA truck that was build between 1928 and 1932. I enjoyed researching this out locating this historical vintage photographs to compile this video. I don't see many of these and so I was amazed at how many different variations of the truck and the chassis were manufactured.

When I am not making images for my normal (if there is such a thing) bodies of work as a photographer, I make plenty of fun videos for my Model A that you can find on this channel too. Be sure to check them out.
As to gear, I shoot a variety of full frame Nikon cameras and lenses. Most everything is shot on a tripod to produce the sharpest images possible.

My 1930 Ford Town Sedan has eyebrow fenders and still has the original interior. It's certainly worn but it still is functional. I have rebuilt the driveline, suspension, and tie rods, installed a modernized Model A motor with oversized intake valves, insert bearings, and a high compression head. I also have a lightened flywheel and V8 clutch. The car comfortably cruises at 50MPH but I've had it up to 60MPH. I have also insulated and installed sound deadener which has made the car enjoyable to be in even at 90 degrees.

Absolutely fascinating content. As a modern Ford truck owner, I so enjoy seeing these forerunners of my beloved F-350. I look forward to your future episodes.

Actually, it's amazing how great a design the A was and still is.I can only assume that in today's world, there's not one vehicle produced that can last the way our beloved A 's have.Get out there and run your A's and enjoy the response from all the folks. THX KEN BE SAFE AND ENJOY!

Can you do a video on the forgotten Model B and BB trucks? I have a 1934 157 inch wheelbase BB truck that came from Great Falls MT. It was used until 1963 when the engine broke. It was left sitting in the field until 4 years ago. Replaced the engine with a similar flathead V8. It now runs and drives again with most of the original parts still on it including the brakes.

Hi Ken , great video! Thanks for the AA technical info! My friend told me of a 1930 Express,131" w.b. in a barn free for the taking, back in 1985. I stored it a few years, but had to sell it. The 195-A, one of my all time favorite trucks!! The stars aligned and I found a 29' Phaeton! Another all time favorite? Thanks for your videos!!

2:31 only slightly over loaded, 😮. 7:56 looks like a starting shaft for the air plane engine, interesting .

I love the big panel trucks but it seems every one has disappeared. I never seen one in real life nor in any youtube.

I never have seen one either. Perhaps they are in museums but all I ever see are flat bed or stake beds. Thanks for watching!
Great shots. Do the photos have descriptions of who's in the photos? I'd love to send some to the mafca webmaster.
