The Historical Bond Between Navuti Village & Wawa Village🤝🏾🇫🇯

In this vlog we are going to Nasesara Village to prepare the grave for a villager that passed away.
The villager that passed away is from Wawa Village and therefore Navuti villagers has the responsibility of making the grave ready and vice versa.
The relationship between these two villages goes back for generations and till today there are certain types of food those two villages can't eat infront of eachother. Navuti Villagers can't eat fish infront of people from Wawa Village as it is considered their food and Wawa Villagers can't eat pork infront of people from Navuti.
That is why when the people from Wawa served us lunch during the function. They only serve pork as it is considered our food.

Future generations will refer to this vblog Ura as token, to be remembered their great great grand fathers, aunties and uncle in their youthful years. The vocals blow my mind away, it's not what we have, but it's who we are in the future. You have done a great favor to the future generations of Navuti. Blessings Ura regards to the boys

What a show of respect and love for your fellow brothers on the island. It’s the brotherly love and strong family/community bonding dating back in time still honored and kept alive for generations. We Pacific Islanders are very tight communities when faced with challenges and hardships. It’s our stronghold and greatest strength throughout times. I melody of the hymn and the symphony of your beautiful voices at the burial was amazing and beyond belief. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 May he rest well with our Lord. 🙏🙏 Now that feast looks daaang good. Normal to us but eye-opening to viewers outside Fiji, especially when tradition is everything as "Johehe" pointed out. 😉 And yes, the food protocol is understandable when going to another village. The pork is to die for though prior to the old brown label afterwards and RIP to the person who is in a better place on high. 🙏
