Kevin is a font of knowledge on the subject of plants & the love he exudes for the topic/practice & for his leafy children is inspiring

My big 18 pound kitty would pull that down in a heartbeat. He is such a jerk. At almost 75 I have decided no more huge plants for me. I had a massive go round with thrips a couple years ago requiring me to spray down every plant in my plant family washing all surfaces etc. three times over a space of 6 weeks. Each go round took me 19 hours and it totally beat the crap out of me. All plants needed to totally dry after spraying to become pet safe. It was a nightmare I do not want to relive. Since then I have been starting all my big babies over and giving away the bases. My goal is to not go over 10 inch pots, maybe 12 inch for special babies, and 4 foot tall plants. I want nice full plants and thankfully I have a friend or two that will take all cuttings I want to send on to them.
