I love Matthew on and off the board I try to look for him in the back of Dan's videos he's always picking up cones and building shit lol

This Powell team is easily one of my favorite current teams. Especially with how y'all are handling the transition into this new era. I hope Powell finds ways to treat their skaters well so no other company can try to come in and steal anyone of your guys. I feel like once they see the unique talent that's on the team, other teams will definitely wish they had certain guys on their company. These guys are definitely worth investing in them. I really appreciate & enjoy all the Powell content 🤘🏻

Matthew is awesome! I love watching him skate. I think Powell really should consider giving all these guys a graphic to put on those standard Flight popsicles and give them a piece of the sales of their boards. Not necessarily turning them “pro”, but at least giving them some possible income if they help move boards. Like $5 per board, or something. Take care of these guys, at least a little!

bump that. several of those guys deserve to be pro already. I get that you have to try to make them push themselves to their limits but several on the Powell team would be skating just as hard everyday even if Powell wasn't a part of the picture.

Oh, I agree. They should be pro, but if they aren’t making them pro and paying them monthly, then at least let them earn something from board sales with their own graphic.

@@Hokieman9094 I'd rather have their shape than their graphic. but that's another thing that helps distinguish pros from ams...needing to change your shape to optimize what you can do with a board. ...just my two cents.

Great to hear him talk more, he's so nice. He is so quiet in Dan's videos, too busy skating. That's so cool his first pro board was a Zero, he actually reminds me of the Dern Bros and the Zero vibe alot. A lot of old school but something about his style is modern at the same time. He's amazing. Thanks!

Deville please get a mic for when you are just talking to the camera. It would really help. Your channel is rad btw. I love these sorts of skater interviews/profiles.

Love all the powell team... but what's great about Matthew is his ability to get hyped to serious big ramps, pools and tranistions to seriously grind and fly ...but then just go play with street boys and do some real knarly tricks and stairs without any real sweat or bother! Great stuff

yes, I love the Powell team as well. Theyre my favourites! Matt, Andy, Kiko, AJ .I also really like JD Sanchez (from Braille). I love Dan Corrigans channel and all the other powell dudes that feature in his channel too. This powell team is cool, imagine if JD Sanchez was on it and he came skated transition with AJ, Matt and Kiko

I've skated some backyard pools before and i feel like if you've never skated one you dont know how difficult the transition can be on them. The fact that Mathew has those tricks on a pool that looks like it has really tight transition is crazy. Underrated how difficult those tricks are and those photos deville took look so good.

loved the content but that audio needs work. only trying to be helpful.

Why cant mini logo have pro models, seems like a lot of guys that could have a board except PP takes too damn long. There could be a 5 guys on a ML team right now without stealing one pro from Powell. If a guy gets too big for the smaller brand he gets bumped up and a spot opens on ML. Keep Cab on Powell but make him ML art director.

So offensive team do a move, then defensive team nominate someone who can best defend that move (incase of Wooten massive stalefish PP probably nominate Matthew, Matthew then (and maybe also Wooten) is frozen until the rest of the PP team have defended a turn, so it narrows down and then resets with bails and cycles so everyone's unfrozen (maybe offending team cycle instead of freezing), you could add stipulations to freeze or unfreeze skaters, guns and fighting over women like they're property also makes things more saucy 🤔 I think it would really help build inter and intra team morale 👍😇 good day all 🫒

Maybe if you're the last defender with the other three or four skaters on your team frozen; you can unfreeze an additional team member for defending while on the ropes, I'd put more thought into it but I don't get paid for production..... yet 😋😇🫒
