In 1974, I was in Singapore on business trip. A forest lumber company boss in Indonesia 41:18 wants to build a road from top of mountain to the lower ground to transport the lumber trees. It will cost multi million dollars to construct the road by some construction company. But the foreman of the lumber company said to the boss, give a CAT bulldozer and US$200k, I will give you the road. By watching this video, this story just come back to me in real life. Thanks much.

I think they should have had an Excavator in combination with that Dozer.

That has always been my job. I am in southern Oregon. I would also send time pushing off the rock pitt face. Many miles of logging road and fire trail. Dnew drive ways also. Some years in Alaska also out of Ketchikan and Artic circle. I enjoyed the thrill. Many didn't like to watch. I am trying to retire now. If they let me. D9L is still my favorite dozer.

Great job by the operator on questionable hillside.great photography,looks like it was a nice day there.just keep doing what your doing and be safe to all worker’s.👍👍👍😎😎😎

In 2008, when I was working on the Trans Kalimantan road, mapping a new 78 km road dividing the Swagener mountains between West and Central Kalimantan with several stages, including executing the road form using 60 heavy equipment, we are grateful that we were safe from several mystical events that we went through.

Gotta cut a drainage ditch on the upper slope side of the road and install culverts at natural draining areas or one good rain will wash away chunks of the road.

That road will be fine if it rains. Rain will actually make it pack down better.

Excellent Drone footage. Why is that road so narrow? A good rain storm and it will wipe it out😮

The operator is doing a great job I feel like he could load that dozer down heavier than what he is doing that's a big dozer load that blade. LOL

What is this road going to be used for? Can you give a gps location so we can find the area with a satellite picture? Thank you.

logging and mining, it looks like the vegetation was hit chemicals prior to excavation. It reminds me of the jungle after getting sprayed with agent orange and it aftermath in Vietnam.

Cruzzy little job , done a lot of that in NZ hill country 30 yrs ago.

Muy buena la trocha fui buldocero opere hasta D 9 ,similar a la figura del D 6:R claro mucho más grande,y veo aqi trabajando la maqina y me parece q no debe abrir la trocha solo así digamolo plana sin bajarle un poco en talud para para q no qede tan parado o sea como una pared y así poder arrastrar más tierra y qedar más amplia la banca y no arriesgar la maqina q con el peso seda el terreno con consecuencias graves de perder la maqina

Pues a mí parecer no me convence muy bien el trabajo con el bulbdoccer para mayor comodidad debe ampliar la trocha para mayor seguridad x q si es para carretera lo puede hacer bajar un talud al 1 x 2 para q qede más tendido y menos riesgo de q la colina seda cuadrar la maqina en diagonal para poder subir la pala e ir descapotando y así obtener mejor piso y más material para arrojarlo al vía no creen soy operario de estos aparatos desde D 2 hasta un D 9 ,también opere estos aparatos con con winche ,y riper haister y ruter

Еще раз говорю-Без песчаной подушки и отсыпки гравием-эта дорога поплывет после первого дождя!!! Глина очень коварный материал, а тем более в горах, с крутыми склонами!!!Не думаю, что местные инженеры этого не знают!???

Makes more sense to cut a road on top of the mountains.Making a road on the side of the mountains will cause mud slides.

How does that make any sense? You have to get to the top of the mountain and you can’t just go straight up the side to the top! That’s how mountain roads are built. They follow the contours and slowly go up maintaining a reasonable grade. 🤷🏽‍♂️

If they put a Flux capacitor in the dozer and get it up to 88 mph, then they can jump time and then not need any roads.

The dozer operator is not to smart,keeps trying to push full blades of dirt, start cutting from the right, each time go a little too the left,you will move 2 times the dirt.
