Zhenya might not be the strongest when it comes to jumps but you can't deny that she's one of the most artistic skater out there. Her emotions, movements, facial expressions, almost everything is so beautifully done! She's so amazing 😍

Zhenya being #1 with Anna Karenina is absolutely perfect. That program is so beautiful

Oh yeah, Evgenia absolutely wins the PCS! This is what she’s remembered for. But I like her 2016 FS(dance for me wallis) more than Anna Karenina. To me that was her best program. The combination of her artistry, technique and choreography is soooo good. P.S I rewatched Anna Karenina and I agree that it’s more dramatic and interesting program

Evgenia is pure art. She is still my favorite skater

Zhenya's skating was never about just jumping like a robot (as most girls nowadays do). She always interpreted the program, danced, and showed emotion - her skating skills, spins, her expressions throughout the program are unlike any other skater and she absolutely deserves and should keep the first place for PCS. Along with that, the fact that her skating was not only a jumping program is what makes her a great show skater, someone who people love watching, even if she doesn't jump fifteen times.

Are you smoking crack? They made her jump in the second half and they have to fill in the first half of the program with someting. I mean even her step sequences are a joke. So they made her do some lyrical facial expression. What is this? A competition in streching facial muscles or figure skating? She is a bad figure skater! And her programs are shit! Thank god for Zagitova rule and that Eteris gurls don't last more than one olympic cycle!

The fact that Kostornaia is not here...she is the most artistic out of the triple A

My opinion: #1 Mao Asada - Olympics 2014 - Rachmaninoff Concerto 2 #2 Satoko Miyahara - Cup of China 2019 - Schindler's List #3 Yuna Kim - Worlds 2013 - Les Miserables #4 Wakaba Higuchi - Worlds 2018 - Skyfall #5 Yulia Lipnitskaya - Olympics 2014 Team - Schindler's List Kostner, Osmond, Kostornaia (in juniors) and Valieva are also very very good. I also like Gubanova, Usacheva, Kihira, and Karen Chen. As for the leaders in this list they're all good but not the best: Sakamoto - amazing SS but no delicacy and grace and has a weak upper body Medvedeva (and Shcherbakova) - amazing interpretation/performance but SS are just average. Zagitova - hard transitions and very charismatic but doesn't stand out in the other categories

@@Jeremy-wp4yh I think most of the world would disagree with you given the reaction to the program. It was a stunning program emotionally and she had the correct look for it. Not to mention the hyperflexibility was one of a kind at the time giving her unique image and lines on ice. Her skating skills weren’t on the level of yuna/Mao/kostner but were still solid and her emotional interpretation was so authentic and not theatrical at all. And her transitions were so difficult too

That's true. Zhenya is an actress on the ice. She is telling the story during her perfomance. I am waiting her in the cinema.

Yuna Kim Adios Nonino 2014 Sochi Free Skate is hold record the highest PCS free skate almost 3 year IMO ,Yuna Adios Nonino is the last free skate from the women is should deserve highest PCS Top notch skating skills ( natural generate such speed , deep edges especially her step seqince , sureness ,cleaness , technique) , every single detail from her movement entire program is match the music , movement idea and timing , the way she interpret the music with mature and elegance look, percision , no one skate last in olympics ecpecially against russian audience like she does I garantee. Yuna got 74.50 point in 2014 under bias judging panel ......that is magic number

No one can beat the artistry of yuna kim’s adios nonino.. who else has performed tango with that level after she retired? Tango is the most difficult piece to interpret on ice in my opinion.

Yuna's best performance is Les Miserables World 2013 free skate. At Sochi the best free program was Mao Asada who had the most difficult step sequence of all time.

В остальных четырёх категориях ей просто не за что ставить высокие баллы. Даже можно сказать что она чуть ли не хуже всех.

I think Queen Yuna also deserves a special mention here. Evgenia definitely deserves the highest PCS, I loved all her senior programs but extremely loud and incredibly close touched somewhere different which no eteri girl or any skater has touched me before. 👑👑🥰🥰🥺🥺

Queen Yuna’s FS at 2010 Olympics or 2013 Worlds should be here huhu. her rank didn’t make me still very upset at her last event (2014 Olympics) because we know she’s the 2014 Olympic champion with Yuzuru, her 2nd Gold was stolen by ISU,…and she also deserve to became the other figure skater who won 2x back to back Olympic champion like Yuzuru, Katarina Wit, Dick Button…

Pcs scoring has becoming inflated after Sochi tbh. Yuna was leading in pcs together with Mao and Caro so when she got like 74ish, it was the creme de la creme.

@@leahvictoria2821 yuna had very good skating skills, not as complex as Mao but she generated speed and glide very effortlessly like Kostornaia or Kaori and was very fast on the ice. Only in transitions, she was average.

I never cared for Kim Yuna's spiral. It always looked so painful. Historically one of the best triple lutz-toe, for sure!

That’s the whole secret of disappearance: he didn’t draw anything new and complicated. But he wanted gold. I'm a Canadian and loved Katelyn's athleticism then artistry in the Swan. But Carolina Kostner shines with grace, elegance, beauty. The Russian girls are in a class of their own.

ive been trying really hard to find the song that plays during number 1 (Evgenia), the names in the info don't help as they don't include the author. The one that's in the video, not the one she skated to. Anyone have any idea? Shazam gave me a song that isn't the one.

It's sad that there's almost no room for the sport to allow skaters to go to the Olympics or Worlds at 30. Carolina's maturity added so much to her artistry and she was a bronze medalist Olympian, while coming from Italy (which doesn't have the resources the USA, Japan, or Russia does for this sport!). She didn't need to prove herself to anyone

You’re the one percent who thinks Kamila is unworthy of her grades? Come on, I also have skaters whose free programs I just love (Kostornaya’s Departure e.g.), but judging objectively, Camila’s ss and difficulty of her program is a lot better than other skaters who were placed lower.

Satoko never skated Tosca clean though. I think her best PCS performance is Schindler's List Cup of China 2019

I think one of the BEST all round female skaters is Yuna Kim (or Kim Yuna). Her technique was unrivaled but her performance, transitions, composition, interpretation and emotion were also amazing! When she skated it was like she was in her own world, skating from her heart and gut. When I was coaching I used to tell my skaters, “ Skate because you love it!” Yuna Kim did that.

Season leading up to Olympic 2018 was so inflated. I love Zhenya but tbh her pcs is nowhere near 77.47. She got IN and PE but CO that program was weak (the start of factory model of Dani G programs), average SS and okay TR. Her pcs when she was with Orser was more representative. If Kamila didn't bomb in the individual event I think we'll see >78 considering how she waa scored that season.

Karolina and Evgenia being the most artistic and has the record for the highest PCS in short and free respectively is a testament on it's own. No wonder why some fans can't help but rely on their "imaginary rules" as a coping mechanism because their favorite skaters aren't on the list.

Yuna's programs were all masterpieces, although the grading system was different. It even made the judges very comfortable.Because it was perfect in every way. I think the best player of all time is Yuna.

Well she had to be Olympic champion with her skills in general. She was cheated obviously even Russian were surprised when childish Zagitova won. I remember Yulia Lipnitskaya was like "what!?" when Evgenia was left behind in the 2 place.

I think she's the best at interpretation and telling a story but her skating skills are just not there, I wouldn't call her skating effortless at all.

Like Yuna Kim, evgenia both are not as well known for their jumps but their emotion and delivery of the performance is amazing

In my opinion, Yuna Kim was a much better jumper than Medvedeva, especially if you consider technique.

Yuna's jumps were a text book. But Russian girl's were not, especially ,wrong edge in lutz.

Мимика и в каких то моментах ее выражение чувств хороши , но сказать что она может воплотить многие образы но это вряд-ли . Судейство в этой части очень субъективное , зависит от времени и судей .

Let's be honest, most of the skaters here gets high PCS not because they're the best artists but because they are consistent jumpers and are from a well known country. how many competitions do we have to watch to see good artists not get rewarded in favour of their more popular counterparts. The fact that skaters like Satoko Miyahara, Marin Honda, Mao Asada and many other legends known for their artistry, barely scrape 8's maybe get a 9 if they're lucky. While (most notably) russian skaters effortlessly get high 9's and 10's for sloppy, forced, and labored skating skills and choreography.
