Whenever I see those “high value women or low value men/women” I make sure not to watch it. I’m just tired of all of the negativity and people trying to mold themselves into someone else. Same goes with those feminist or masculine energy videos too.

The radical selfishness in the name of self love and care is so real. Lord, please help us and may we as Christians be the change 🙏🏾

Isn’t it funny “women are physically weaker” yet we are the ones who carry and bring new life .

Pound for pound- weaker, maybe. But those who always talk about physical weakness are nothing better than a piece of rock in my eyes

I completely understand your point. Women are strong(er) in so many ways and strength can be measured in so many ways. But my overall point is that ‘strength’ does not equate to value. There is equality of value and purpose even if there isn’t sameness. I hope that makes sense. The nitty gritty of the argument for me is not in trying to figure out who is stronger or weaker, but fundamentally in the fact that we are equals 🤍

@@CourtneyDaniella I understood what you meant! I just find it ironic society leads some to believe we as women are not as strong as men when in fact we are all strong just in different ways! Like you said, God created man AND women in his image and because he is strong, we are strong! 100% agree strength doesn't equate to value and we are equals! Im so grateful we serve a God who's thoughts and ways are not like humans and yet Jesus knows what it's like to be human! God is so profound truly.

Exactly. A woman can never be weaker than a man physically. We endure far much more physical pain than they ever can.

Thank you so Much for this sis , You’ve healed so much in me just by answering and going into depth with the topic . For a very long time I thought God didn’t value women as much as he did men Especially after reading Timothy Now I realized that I was just reading it out of Context and my inside was dark that’s why I read it with a dark understanding. And I’ve realized Many People mix Culture and Religion in some cultures It’s Okay for a Husband To beat His Wife , I remember my Younger self saying to myself how can you be able to be submissive to someone that beats you without resenting him . I realized that the reason I thought like that because I didn’t really understand the beauty of when Christ Compared Marriage to him and the church . And the Jesus I know Does not promote abuse . People love Mixing Culture with religion. Peace be with you my sisters .

Hey Courtney , thank you so much for being consistent with the uploads. WOW this one came for me as someone who is a heavy consumer of those types of videos , I feel very convicted . This was such a ''WISDOMOUS'' 😅chat . In as much as we all should work towards bettering ourselves we should not lose sight and end up idolizing ourselves and become self serving ,forgetting that even the king himself came and served on this earth . Thank you for reminding me and opening my eyes ❤

23:55 I was thinkin as I was listening to you speak that being a high value woman is a trauma response. It’s definitely rerooted in vanity, selfishness & hurt. God doesn’t care about looks, but it seems like that movement is based in how to carry yourself in a way to appear better to the world and not truly centered around healing.

I’m just sitting here just in awe at how mind blowing God is over and over. The first 15 min. is literal revelation that I had from God yesterday morning. My revelation answered an unspoken/underlying question I had never actually verbalized to God, but was always resting there subconsciously. This past Sunday my First Lady preached about the woman as the helper and tied it with how the Holy Spirit is also the helper too. Yesterday morning I was reflecting on the word and the Holy Spirit connected it for me. When God said let us make man in his own image he literally deposited himself in both men and women. The woman isn’t less than the man. She is just as important and necessary. And here I am this midnight and God expanding and confirming his word to me in this video. I love how the God enjoys teaching me things out of know where that heal me and give me insight. It was a revelation I didn’t even realize I needed. His revelation healed and delivered me from an area I didn’t even know needed healing and deliverance in. WHAT A MIGHTY GOD I SERVE 🥹🥹🙌🏾🙌🏾

Helper in hebrew means ezer a word used to describe the character of the Holy spirit in regard to His ability to rescue us and help us in our time of need. The word to describe servant or maid is not ezer so that's already a hint at the fact that a women's role according to God's order and design isn't merely some docile assistant to a man. Its an active role bestowed on us thanks to God's wisdom and grace. Also consider Luke 10:38-42! We are all meant to have this characteristic tbh helping people in their time of need just as he would like us to. But like Courtney is saying coming into revelation of Christ means we must be willing to reverently submit to new understandings and not apply winsom we have curated within culture to dictate or colour our understandings of the Bible. Once I did this I found that I was wrong about my assumptions a lot of the time and actually (in regards to my misinformed ideas about the bible and how it depicts women) happily so.
