I listened about (G)I-DLE first time when they made a collab with riot games, you know, the KDA stuff, but later i didn't keep listening anything from the K-Pop industry. Thankfully they where in a channel that i usually watch, THE FIRST TAKE, promoting "Queencard" and "I DO", and got my curiosity how diverse the group was. I mean, you could see how different their personalities were, and i never expected their performance to be that good. I did listened something out of curiosity in the past, i think it was when they started, but there weren't that much tracks at that time, but i remembered especially about Soyeon performances, so after watching their First Take videos i started searching about the group. Of course i dropped at your channel, which i listened before, specially to see FIRST TAKE reaction videos, and discovered other girls group like Red Velvet (omg i love Wendy so much right now), and got to now about Lee Mujin and his program, which i usually see now(I saw all the 100 episodes). But the thing with IDLE is different. I guess you could say I'm a member of Neverland now, and yes, my bias is Soyeon Honestly, i was expecting a reaction, or some kind of brief analisys about the album. At the beginning, it was supposed to be "Fate" the title track, but i read somewhere that Soyeon wanted something like an anthem to be promoted this time, a track that could be considered their presentation card, which leads super lady to be the one. Personally, i don't listen too much at any other k-pop bands like i do with (G)I-DLE. If you asked me a year ago, i could never believe how much i am in to this group right now, especially to Soyeon, and mostly from the hate and criticism she gets. This girls got something diferent in the industry, maybe because they involve so much in their songs, but after listening to their discography, you can appreciate the versatility of these girls. Their exploration in various genres. Such diverse concepts. So much creativity in their MVs too. To summarize: Thank you for your content, and I hope you give the album a brief review. I personally liked Super Lady, but i think previous track songs are better, and about the rest of the album i like REVENGE a lot and it may be my favourite. WIFE is soo catchy. The beats in VISION it's super fun too. It's awesome to notice the personalities of the song writers in the b side tracks. And the thing with FATE it's like the song that Soyeon sang at Lee Mujin Service, Not Enough. Those songs are ment to be a OST to me. Of all their discography my favourite song is "Oh my God"

Soyeon is an once in a generation type of idol... Like the girl can do anything. Sing Rap Dance Produce Write Direct like she is a whole damn package....Single handedly leading one of the best groups in k-pop....It always baffles me how much she is hated , that too for the stupidest reasons you could find.... She deserves the world...

It's nice hearing an actual professional's take on Soyeon's opening notes instead of the comment mafia who just put down anyone who isn't their bias from another group. The whole stan/netizen thing is just tiring and toxic as hell. With that said, I'm so glad you reacted to this, G-Idle is amazing and this album is an absolute no skip.

It blows my mind that Soyeon is able to coach her members the way that she does. She's able to listen to her members, understand what they're doing, and then guide them through it... and then she understands their voices/personalities really well that she caters it to each individual member. My understanding of her career is that she went through the same vocal training as any other idol (albeit Idle found their own vocal coaches outside of Cube's recommendations). On top of being the group's main rapper, she's the leader that has to deal with her agency, spends a ton of time writing... it's crazy to me that her level of production and coaching is at the level it's at, despite not having any unusual training. She's a wonderful example of a person having an incredible ear, abundance of natural talent, and then is matched with incredible drive and work ethic.

I feel like Miyeon is criminally underrated as a Main Vocalist. I really love her voice, her solo album was so freaking good. Lately she's been getting a lot of OSTs so I hope more people will start to recognize her talent

I love that you love Soyeon . I feel she is such an amazing, talented & an inspirational artist but so severely underrated. She is laying the groundwork for many future female artists.

Thats exactly why she is the only Female Idol in Kpop History to have won Songwriter and Producer Award. She is a rare talent in Kpop. There are many song writers too, but Producing at the same time. Its very rare.

I love these studio recording reactions so much. And double so with Soyeon at the helm! ❤️

Thank you so much! Learnt a lot from both you and Soyeon! And yes, more people should be realizing her unique talent, hardwork and professionalism and all shes done and achieved at just age 25, and giving her her flowers! What she and I-DLE are doing is simply so amazing! They are in their own league! About the opening high notes in Super Lady, Soyeon explained it so well in a radio show. They (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon) had an audition! Soyeon actually wanted to do another part, so if there was another member who could do the high note, then she would do another part. But the other members’ vocal ranges did not match this part. Whereas soyeon did not match vocal ranges that are slightly lower than this, and the other members did (and found the high note part hard). Soyeon thought if she should lower by one key but then the other parts will become too low. And so finally decided not to lower it and did the part herself. I like it when she talks about her production, songwriting, recording process like this!

I love to see the recording... And sometimes you can see how the YG training shaped the way Myeon sings. With a lot of stress on the throat and stylistic. She has find her way but it's funny to see how that years of trainings still affect her

I was looking forward to this one! I already felt like I was getting a singing lesson from Soyeon but getting your comments on top just made it even better, thanks a lot for this reaction! I love Doll and 7Days too on this album but Super Lady feels like a very complex song in between the vocals and the visuals they went for in the MV that it has to be my main one for this album.

Your reactions are invaluable, literally nothing can compare. I love how specific you get in explaining vocal techniques, and I found it so interesting to ear how, from your experience in the studio with other producers/directors, you can tell Soyeon is especially particular about the way she wants her songs to sound. That is something I wouldn't have known!

I feel like the people bullying Soyeon because they stan another member of the group, don't understand that their stan would absolutely dislike them for hating on Soyeon, all the girls respect her a LOT because she works with their voice and gives them lines according to what they can handle. She's so patient in the recording sessions but you'll see a dumb 12 year old idiot comment something like "She's taking the good lines!" or "why does so-and-so not have more lines!?!" I see this the most with Shuhua stans, (Love Shuhua btw), Shuhua had gotten more and more lines consistently as she can now handle them. She used to have NO lines and Soyeon fought to keep her and Yuqi in Idle. Also, the line distribution is always different and Soyeon does not have the most lines if you take the whole albums into consideration. Ya'll need to grow up. Everytime you hate on her, just remember! Miyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua, Soojin and Minnie will all hate you.

The reason why the 1 2 3 was hard in Thai is because Thai is a tonal language and changing the tone changes the meaning

presently it is Cube depends on (G)I-dle rather than the other way around. their contracts will be over in 2025 and once it is over it's hard to tell what will happen. the gals may not keep the group name if they are decided to go on their way. even the gals have been talking about leaving Cube once their contracts are over, it still depends on how terms and conditions are to be on their contract renewal. the only thing that the gals may not be able to keep is the group name '(G)I-dle' if they leave. other than that, they may set up their own agent or something like that. let's wait and see then. it could be a bit more complicated since they have 3 foreigners in their group.

Whenever i think Soyeon can't surprise me(i mean she's already so perfect), she surprises me even more. She's so SHARP as a producer. I'll always fall for Minnie's voice. I do have higher expectations for Yuqi. Her voice impresses me a lot. But sometimes I feel like she is just singing, she can sing so much better. Wonder if she still have vocal lessons.

I think Soyeon is very particular with how each word is sung because even just the slightest difference in pronunciation can affect the feeling or vibe of the song. Soyeon wrote and produce the song with a particular vibe in mind so she'll do her best to achieve that edit: by "naughtily", she meant "mischievously". kinda like those girls who deliberately cause trouble. almost bully-like in kdramas. tough and bad

i would be impressed to see someone sing this comfortably as chest belt her mix is so so good and just standard
