When I was a kid I'd always cry when passing logging sites because even when I was 4 I knew the trees were suffering. Now I look at those logging sites and want to cry but then I remember all of that wood is used for shelter, education, and economy for everyone to be able to live. I also remember that 2 trees are planted for every 1 taken down tree. I am thankful for the logging yet I wish that we could do so more efficiently and thankfully.

In my village around 12 000 years ago we used to believe that the Sun represents the male and the Moon the female energy. When the Sun and Moon join in eclipse they form a golden ring which we used as a symbol of marriage between a male and female. The golden ring is therefore used in marriage rituals. You're very good at seeing spiritual things in our modern pop culture to help other people. Something I would suggest to look into and to digest is... Magic: The Gathering. Now I know at first that may sound silly to use a silly game and it was never intended to be used as such a thing I'm sure but in my own experience I have found it to be a valuable an interesting source to use as metaphors and explain concepts to two or three of my colleagues both in story and in gameplay. I will not go into detail as I feel you have the ability to see and appreciate, but if you do decide to go down that rabbit hole I feel you would enjoy the journey.

JRR Tolkien said he did not like allegory. He stated in the preface to a later edition of The Fellowship, that the story is not meant to be an allegory for anything. He just wanted to write a long and interesting tale. He did not intend any of his characters to be stand-ins for any Earthly entities of his time, nor stand-ins for religious or cultural edifices either. It is a great tale that we project our own ideas into so it has a meaning to us that might be quite different than what Tolkien intended.

But it really hits home, how IMPORTANT the personal roles that each of us has to play-or the leaders could not succeed. They were united physically. We are united through technology and Spirit.
